Your Baby

Your third week of pregnancy is technically your first week of gestation after conception. At this stage, your baby is a developing ball of cells called a blastocyst and is making its way through the fallopian tube to the uterine cavity where it will continue to grow and develop for the next approximately 37 weeks.

Your Body

At this stage of pregnancy, most women are not even aware they are pregnant. As your fertilized egg is implanting into the lining of your uterus, you may notice some spotting.

Activities this week

Create a list of doctors or midwives in your area to choose from in the next couple of weeks. If you are not sure where to start, find your local BabyBump app city group, and members can help with recommendations.

Just for you

BabyBump hosts themed community groups based on our members' estimated due dates. Now is a great time to check in on your birth month group and say hello!
