Alt12 Apps Launches BabyBump, the First Multi-Platform Pregnancy Application with New Social Features on the iTunes App Store
BabyBump users can Twitter their contractions and post baby’s kick counts on Facebook
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- November 16, 2009 -- Alt12 Apps today announced an update of its BabyBump™ application that enables social integration with Facebook and Twitter. Users can now keep their family and friends up to date with their pregnancy through automated posts of their baby’s kick sessions and contractions.
Available initially on the iTunes App Store, BabyBump’s new social integration feature gives users the option to post updates to their Facebook and Twitter feeds when using the app’s kick counter or contraction tracker. A user’s kick session information can be posted on Facebook and Twitter during or at the completion of a session. The apps’s contraction tracker automatically calculates stage of labor and now allows instantly posting active or complete contractions to their Facebook profile and Twitter feed, keeping followers abreast on the progression and stages of labor.
BabyBump is a comprehensive pregnancy application with a suite of features that enables users to stay informed about their pregnancy with weekly baby and body developments, as well as track progress with an integrated journal and calendar. BabyBump is the first pregnancy application to be deployed on multiple mobile platforms, offering the most comprehensive set of tracking capabilities, bundling features often sold as individual apps.
