Some tips I've heard:
-Get a portable crib with a built in changing table
-If you're going to breast feed buy nipple balm!
-if you delivery vaginally make sure to bring home the squirt bottle from the hospital!

I ebf my 8 week old and have tried the gum drop pacifier. She will suck on it but absolutely will not keep it in her mouth on her own. Is that something that comes with time or should I try another kind? I don't want to cause nipple confusion from offering her different pacifiers.

Does anyone elses baby have a time every night when they are just fussy and nothing helps? We have this problem with our little 5 week old. She is fine all day long, but come 730 she is just fussy and nothing helps, well right now we find that her swing helps, she sleeps in there. At around 9 she is fine again. We don't suspect colic, she doesn't cry or seem like she is hurting or anything, just one hour every night where she is a fussy butt. We've tried gas drops thinking that was the problem but they didn't do much. A bath helps to but that's only every other night. Please tell me other babies do this, I feel like my baby is broken durin that time and I can't help her

So my 3 week old DD has a diaper rash, shes had it since she was 7 days old! Some days it's just red, and others it has little blisters on it. I asked her dr if I should change her wipes or diapers and she said no that it was from her poop bc it is so acidic? I didn't think that was right! I mean she's had a darn rash for two weeks now that's wayyy to long in my eyes, all the dr told me to do was let her air out and keep cream on her! I have tried what the dr said! I don't think she knows what she is talking about so today I changed her diapers so we shall see!

I am about to stop BF! This little person seems to always want the breast. I know I have a good supply. I'm able to pump at least 4oz in ten minutes, so what's the problem. As soon as I put him down he's crying for the boob. He's three weeks old and I'm feed up! My friends keeps telling me to start him on a formula.
Any advice???? Please I've had it!
