I just read an article about yet another child being left in a hot car and dying. It was in Texas this past Thursday and it was a 7 month old boy. The father dropped his older children off at school and went off to work forgetting he had his baby. He didn't even notice until he got home that evening and realized mom didn't have the baby. I wish I could copy and paste the article, but I'm on my Android. It's so sad.
On one hand, I swear up and down I would NEVER forget my baby was in the car. On another hand I can almost understand. Life gets really hectic sometimes and we can lose our heads as parents. We get so caught up in our busy lives and tragedies happen. It's SO sad, but I can't bring myself to criticize and judge the parents who it has happened to. I'm sure they're facing enough pain as it is.

I have this friend who lives in a beautiful 3 bedroom house paid by the government, she literally pays next to nothing for rent and house hold bills.. yet she has the cheek to tell me that I don't have the right to ask for help when I go on maternity leave because i'll be taking her money...!! what!? I was gobsmacked. she has never worked a day in get life, and uses her three children as her excuse not to work or even finish school.

while getting blood work this morning, there were 2 other moms in there i was alot younger than both of them (21) and when i walked by they were talking and one lady says " well see, theres another welfare check" ARE YOU SERIOUS?! ignorant b*tch. they proceeded to say things as i walked by. im 21 and have a son whos almost 3. the one lady said the "young ones" like me need to learn.. and shes entitled to state help because she works part time.. well my big mouth :) 1st, i finished school and am going to college. 2nd, i dont get any state help, not foodstamps, insurance or wic, because my income is to high so i work more than full time for my families needs. 3rd. i make almost 20$ an hr and bust my ass working 11pm-7am all week. 4th.
im so sick of people judging me... yes i wear pjs out during the day, i work 3rd shift thats when i should be sleeping!! No, not all young moms are a welfare case, and theres nothing to "learn" im doing just fine. me and my so both have great incomes and dont ask for anything! but because i was the young mom i got the rude comments while the others got "aww how far along are you" "boy or girl"... i got judged and nasty looks.
i know one thing, id rather be a young mom than a miserable old judgemental b**** !!
p.s - those foodstamps your "entitled" to, i pay for them every week!!! :( up yours!!!

today has been a horrible day. my bil wrecked my car n ins prob wont cover it. he hit a telephone pole after falling asleep at the wheel. hes ok but my car isnt. my mom totally flipped out which i dont blame her ahes the policy holder. this is the second time this has happen to me in 5 years. you think id learn huh..i feel like a dumbass for that. my sil is having major health issues and my aunt just told my mom my granmas cancer is back. she just beat stage four cancer and now its back n very active. im 34 weeks and even tho baby is still low but no change. i go to see a specialost bc theres a brain tube thats measuring almost double what it is for my baby. i feel like my world is falling apart. i cany work my hubby is trying his best woeking 7 days a week and taking care of me. i don't think i can take anymore heartaches. im on the verge of a nervous breakdown and its bad for the baby to be stressed. i just feel like the last 8 months have been punishing me and idk y. idk what else to do anymore

Just because im pregnant and you like babies does not mean we're friends! Just because we went to elementary school together 15 years ago does not mean i trust you to babysit my child! sheesh please just leave me alone!
