Jayde; the doctor would have known you'd had a miscarriage the previous month because the new fetus attaches to the same area as the missed miscarriage and can cause a sub chorionic heamorage

Love this post. After 3 natural births without pain relief my birth plan was strictly no drugs and natural birth for bub no 4. How wrong I was when I was in labour and when the doctor broke my waters found out my baby had turned bum first breech at the last minute and I had an emergency csection with an epidural (despite me begging for a natural birth and always saying I'd never have an epidural) and the drugs kept coming not for 1 day but for 6 weeks I was taking pain killers.
I supplement feed my bub formula because I don't have enough milk sometimes.
Breast feeding is really painful because my little man just about rips my nipples off but I feel like I'm letting him down if I stop.
I fall asleep whilst feeding him! And I barely cook or clean anymore because I don't have time with my 11y,8y,3y, and 8 week old.
If it weren't for my hubby my house would be a dump!!!
Thanx fir this post it really helps to get thing off your chest!!!

My hubby stood up and looked over the curtain and told me that he could see all the layers of fat and muscles etc and I told him to shut up cos I was already freaking out.
When they announced they were about to pull him out my hubby went to the other end of the bed and watched the entire birth whilst the nurse took photos. They announced to me what parts they were pulling out.
Bum, left leg, announced it's a boy!!! right leg, body, right arm, left arm, then head.
I love seeing the pics now and I'm glad I was awake to have that experience.

You might be better off on a full dose pill instead of a milt dose pill. . I also don't recommend the implant or injection ad they can cause heavy bleeding for months or no period at all.

Can't help with the water breaking question because my doctor found out my son was breech when he broke my waters and felt a bum. He then raced from the room and came back with an ultrasound machine and announced he was breech and I needed a c section.
But I think they break the water and suction it as a pp said.

I had an emergency c section because my bub was undiagnosed breech (he was head engaged 10 days before hand).
They will shave you, insert a catheda, a canula, you will be taken to theatre and they'll put in the spinal(my hubby held me when I had mine) then why will lay you down, put the sheet up, check that you can't feel anything and then begin.
It doesn't normally take long to get bub out but in my case it took ages because they had to get my sons bum out of my pelvis.
They will announce the sex and time of birth, check bub over then let you have a cuddle and try to bf. Theyll then send ur oh And bub so bub can be weighed and measured etc whilst you're sutured etc and they'll meet you in recovery.
Take as much pain relief as u can!!! See if ur oh can stay to help Especially when u have ur 1st shower and to change bub etc. The nurses generally care for the baby for the first 24 hours and they'll bring bub to u for a feed.
You will be on the bed and the nurses will change your pad every couple of hours for 24 hours or until you ask to get up. The catheda will be removed the next day too.
It will take at least three days before you can move properly because of the pain (sorry to scare you). I hope your recovery goes well. Enjoy your bub.

Oh and the stupid nurse that told me 4 days prior that his head was engaged etc is denying what she said even though it's in my notes!
My doc apologized profusely but it's not his fault it's the nurses!!!
