You should maybe see another Dr. cause you shouldn't be having that many problems. I don't think ur Dr. is very knowledgable about GD. You have 2 look out 4 you & ur child so go 2 a hospital or see another & try 2 get an appt w/ an endocrinologist ASAP. Good luck & I wish you & ur lil one the best.
doc jus called and sending me to an official set of high risk specialists bc the radiologist said he saw fluid in a part of my baby boys brain. she told me it could be nothing, could be a cyst, she wasnt too sure but def wanted another opinion. she told me not to get concerned but how can i not??!! this is my baby and you telling me something could be wrong with him. im feeling pretty helpless till the specialist call and tell me to go. we have been thru so much first a placenta seperation at 12 weeks that healed then premature labor at 29 weeks got it stopped and now this. i feel like i keep getting kicked down in the dirt with this baby. hes my first and it feels like ill never get through this pregnancy without something else happening. hes been a tough little guy and i hope it is nothing. we really need the prayer. hes been the biggest thing in my life right now and if something was to happen idk what id do. im trying not to stress i certainly dont need to go into labor right now. noah jayden i know you are a figher... and i love you
So had a ultrasound today as doctor thought I was carrying to much fluid. But just a big baby 1.8 kilo 29weeks ( new dates) (30weeks normal dates) anyone else having a baby that's a bit bigger then normal ?
Wow, I'm following my Drs order cause I want a healthy baby & I have a family history of diabetes so this is very scary for me. I'm also hypothyroid & was diagnosed with chronic hypertension so I know this is going 2 be a long hard pregnancy. Thanks for the well wishes.
how many of you ladies have GD? and how high have your levels been? they were trying to keep me diet controlled, but my levels are so high that they put me on some G word meds and they maxed that out, now im on those with a sliding scale for insulin, meaning i get insulin if my levels are higher than 150, and i get it at night before bed. my sugars crash around midnight- 2 am and then the next day very high again. they just took mine and it was 223. i dont get it. when i was at home and diet controlled, they were barely higher than 140 now theyre in the 200s? holy crap and thats with me being in a hospital, theyre WAY higher now that im here.
