User Sammysam93 - BabyBump (Alt12 Apps)

When giving birth to bub they had to give me an episiotomy there for I needed stitches. While in hospital I barely noticed the pain while urinating.
Since coming home it just aches and nothing I do eases it. I cry every time I feel the need to urinate and then cry even more when I actually do it from the pain lol.
I had the nurses check them on Saturday when I was discharged and will get my midwife to check them again tomorrow on her visit.
Do any of you ladies have any tips on what I can do so it's not such a trauma for me to wee? How did you cope? How long did it last for?

Urals n heaps of water n warm water tipped over your stitches while peeing. The drs cut me n then I tore (vagina to bum with 3 layers of stitches, they didn't actually count how many stitches tho) and nice warm salt baths helped too. The pain went away in 2-3 weeks :)
