Let's discuss the things they don't tell you in books about being a first time mom. Experienced moms please weigh in. I'll do my best to remember how awkward and terrifying those first weeks are.
THINGS NOBODY TELLS YOU
1) You will become a poop expert!
2) Your baby WILL have a blowout, most likely in public, so bring extra clothes or a blanket. You can torture your child with the story when they are a teenager.

-If you're going to breast feed buy nipple balm!
-if you delivery vaginally make sure to bring home the squirt bottle from the hospital!

Quick Rant!!! Well, I was browsing the forum Question or Dads. I came across a post entitled Wife Vs. Mom, it was about a new father siding with his mom over his wife. I was interested, because my husband and I have similar issues and wanted to get a males point of view who is not my husband. Long story short... A pair began to argue over grammar and abbreviations--petty!!! And a whole bunch of people (male/female/Not really sure) ganged up on this woman because she kept using abbreviations such as wit, dem, bby, etc. I have to admit it was a bit annoying but ok, fine it's her post!!! Skip over it if it's that big of an issue no need to get you panties/ boxers in a bunch. What really ticked me off this random person says "I just skip the replies that sound like an uneducated black kid from the ghetto." Real educated on your behalf a****** , Just Ignorant!!! I would prefer reading a post with every word misspelled than racist comments. Its a shame that something so petty would even be on this app. I was lead to believe it was designed for acknowledgement of our beautiful babies no matter what the race and support of fellow parents. I guess I'm going to delete myself because BB is becoming the new Facebook just with more emotions. Sorry that wasn't exactly quick but Rant Over

Why do some women haunt this forum?? I mean its called questions for dad's ....I totally understand why women answer on certain posts (I have myself) but what I don't understand is why some of you ladies are ALWAYS here answering on almost every post. When I come through here (every now and then) and read through the post I always see the same names lol it baffles me.
Why do some women haunt this forum??
