I need a break ðŸ˜°

Well, things aren't super right now. Juno has been on antibiotics from birth for her kidney which have kick started colic & reflux. She had a scan last week showing it was no better & in fact worse. We're seeing the paediatrician on Friday. She also has eczema & cradle cap all over her head & face and yesterday I discovered she has a double ear infection. My poor baby girl is having a rotten start ðŸ˜–

Pickle is good, teething hard so difficult but still cheeky and super cuddly and finally cool having a sister.

Me, I'm feeling poo. Been feeling not quite right for a while but I've been ignoring it. The past few days my tummy has been sore under and either side of my scar. Today I noticed nasty vaginal discharge. Saw my gp this afternoon...I have a womb infection from the c-section ðŸ˜– she said I've been fighting it since the op and my body's giving up. I'm fed up with sickness. I need a break!!!

New house!

I'm so excited and overwhelmed at the same time. Our current house has sold ( the first two times it fell thru on the buyers part). After months of searching we have finally found a new house to buy. It is very close to our dream house. We are just waiting to see if the builder will accept our offer. We have to be out of our current house on the 25th of May and will not close on our new house until June 26th. So we are going to have to live with my mom for a month. It's all very exciting but stressful moving with 2 kids and prego again, but have a gender scan next week.

Stella asked to go to the potty all on her own today and she pooped. She was so proud of herself and I'm such a proud happy mama. Hope she continues this :)

Bittersweet....

So I was feeding M only in the mornings as he's been self weaning. Now I'm pretty sure he's totally done with it. This is bittersweet to me. I really enjoyed breastfeeding him, but I also wanted time off between him and this baby. Now that he's really not feeding in the am anymore, I get my time off, but I've lost my breastfeeding with him forever. I'm surprised to say it, but I'm really going to miss it!

I self expressed in the shower each morning for 3 days. Within a week I wasn't feeling the letdown or any pain, by the second week I was leaking colostrum again!

Thank you all for being so supportive xxx I'm feeling a bit better today so the pills must be doing something. I'm just going to have to see how tomorrow goes and try not to worry. Juno is a bit more settled but is in the middle of her second development leap so is cluster feeding, which is very tiring! I'll update you after my scan x

You've done an amazing job feeding him so long, be proud of yourself and enjoy the memories. I gave up feeding pickle shortly after I fell pregnant with Juno. I felt awful but really needed the break. He was fine and I definitely don't regret it. You're in a great position, you get to have a break before the little one arrives and not feel guilty as he's weened himself. Put those feet up and enjoy your gorgeous boy and pregnancy xx

Hi guys, Well, I finally saw a doctor that took notice and listened. She examined me again, took swabs and said there's definitely a nasty infection - acute endometritis. I've also got group b strep but she said that wouldn't be the cause. She thinks there's likely to be something left inside, placenta or gauze. Grim! I'm praying it's just an infection, really don't want to have to have a D&C. She called the hospital while I was there for advice. Gynae suggested another course of pills and a scan. The pills are horrible, I'm on a massive dose of 150mg, 3 pills 4 times a day. They're making me feel really nauseous, tired and I've had a headache since I started them. Hopefully that means they're working? I'm still in a lot of pain, it doesn't seem to be letting up yet...if they aren't working in a few days I have to be admitted and put on a different drug which can only be given by IV. I'm booked in for a scan on Monday so hopefully they'll get me sorted ASAP. Juno is still getting a rash every time I feed, it seems to be under control as she's on piriton still. The pharmacist thinks she's allergic to penicillin or my co-amoxyclav is reacting with her cefalaxin for her kidney. The gp seems to have no clue so if she's still getting the rash and puffy eyes on Monday I'm going to take her back to a&e after my scan. Still in this mess but feel better now I'm actually being seen.

Just called the surgery. I'm seeing the doctor who first diagnosed the infection at 11:30. She was the one who said I might need a scan so hopefully she'll take action this time! I'll let you know how I get on!
