I love these boards, I get so much useful info. And I think it's great support for all of us. But it makes me worry a lot! Yesterday, my OB said "when our parents were pregnant they were drinking high-balls. People have been doing fine for thousands of years. Don't drink, don't smoke, don't eat raw meat. Otherwise do everything you can to get thru the 1st trimester. Eat whatever sounds good, sleep as much as you want, and don't worry about exercising until your 2nd trimester". I loved it, she's right. So the next time you get all psycho about the fact that you ate bologna, or that you sat in a heated massage chair, take a deep breath and know that it's better to be relaxed for your baby's sake. I hope we all have perfect pregnancies, August girls!

Why not! I read if you pee in a cup and add a tea spoon of baking soda you can determine the sex! Crazy maybe, but hey, I tried! "they" say if fizz and foam its a boy, no fizz no foam its a girl. I peed in my red solo cup and... No fizz at all. Nothing happened... I'd like to hear if anyone did fizz or foam. We'd love a girl!!

Throughout the whole beginning of this pregnancy I wanted nothing to do with sex, I'm now almost through my 9th week and for the past 2 days it's all I can think about.

Ok so I was so worried about not having any symptoms that I started getting them now, nothing major but I just woke up from my 4th nap today and craved cookies and cream ice cream so bad that hubs is out right now finding the right brand! Aside from being sleepy this is the only other "pregnant" thing I have going in right now I'm 5w6d . Does anyone else have these intense cravings this early?

I have nasal congestion, headaches and I'm just overall tired. I googled some stuff but just wondered if any of you ladies have been in the same spot- or if your doctors gave you a list of safe over the counter stuff.

Went great!! We got DD a shirt that says, "this little elf's going to be a big sister!" we changed her before the presents and sent her walking towards the kitchen. My cousin saw it right away!! :) so fun!! Hope everyone's holiday is great!!
