My LO is almost 5 months and for the past week and a half she has been having a little bit of blood in her poopy diapers. She is EBF too. I took her to the dr and we have been collecting stool samples to try and figure out the cause. Her Peditrician seemed a little concerned because he said very few things would cause it. Has anybody else experience something like this?

So I took my sweet little Braxton to his 4 mo appt yesterday and I had noticed when he turned his head to the right it seemed really strained. I thought maybe still practicing balance. Well the Dr informed me she noticed in looking over him that he leans his head towards his right shoulder while he is being held, sitting, laying etc. I for one feel horrible i didn't catch on to him doing that when I'm the one with him 24/7! But also no 1 wants to hear their LO has something going on. Well she did tell me it wasn't bad, and thank god his head is a perfect shape because she usually see's this condition come along with a very flat head on one side from the baby favoring that side. She's referred me to a physical therapist so they can work the muscle out but they can't even see him till OCTOBER 2!!!! Ugh. So i ask what i can be doing to help correct this in the mean time? Anyone dealing or know much abt Torticollis? I've looked up a lot but personal advice is always better.

Is anyone else still exclusively breast feeding? It seems like everyone has introduced solids (rice, cereal, veggies, etc) already! We're waiting until after 6 months, then doing baby-led weaning. We'll continue to bf for at least 24 months, though.

so I've been realizing that my hubby's mom is not the same with our little boy as she is with her 2 grand daughters (which 1 is technically not hers but that's besides the point). She does everything for the 2 girls when we r all around and she always has but when it comes to my little guy seems like she's just bothered. I know petty and I've been really overly emotional past 2 days so maybe that's my issue but really.... Makes me not want to be around

My 5month old son has been holding his head well up until a week ago when he started kinda holding it a little to the right.
I've seen pictures of other babies with congenital torticollis and those seem much more severe. His is just a little tilted. I found some exercises to do on youtube and we started doing those. Also I read that c.t. could be caused by a small lump on his neck, which he doesn't have, and/or discomfort when moving his head and limited mobility, but he moves his head either direction, no problem and he's a very happy baby-no pain...
Any advice??

if you are choosing an alternate schedule for vaccines, can you share what it looks like or provide any sites or references for a schedule you found helpful?
we are currently interviewing pediatricians and none are open minded about the alternate schedule. they have only provided me with the schedule that they recommend - which is the book taught, pharmaceutical company recommended schedule. we have a pediatrician interview this friday who I have been told is amazing with helping parents complete an alternate schedule. I'd like to go down with an idea to show him so we can go over what he recommends compared to what I feel is appropriate.

We like this name for our little boy, but when you read it, do you pronounce Jamison like jam or jame? It's supposed to be like Jaymison but I don't like that spelling much. Also, would you pronounce Leonel like Leon or Lion? It has to be spelled like that bc it's after my dad (Leo), I just want to make sure it will be prnounced correctly. thanks for the help :)
