There was a post a couple of days ago about mothers groups and it got me thinking about my mothers group and how women often feel what they do during their pregnancy and as a mother has to be kept to themselves for fear of judgment by other women/mums. One of the mums in my group co-sleeps. Only I know because it is so frowned upon and she doesn't want to be judged. I thought I'd start a post where we can share our "dirty secrets" without judgment.
My dirty secrets:
- I wear my baby most days and sometimes don't even try to put her into her cot because I like to be close to her.
- I want to co-sleep but DH won't allow it.
- I don't want to give her a bottle because I want to be the only one who can feed her.
- I don't let her cry (unless I'm covered in soap in the shower - a wet, soapy mum is not comforting - I learnt that the hard way).
- I want to toss in my career and be a stay at home mum.
- I use a dummy and if that doesn't work I let her use me as a dummy.
- I used to judge other mums for doing what I now do before my DD arrived. Now I get it.
- I ate runny eggs when I was pregnant (cooked by me at home) and sometimes had two or three coffees in the one day.
What are your dirty secrets?

I am a ftm due 4.25...I have bad anxiety. I don't mind needles but I don't like medications that make me feel loopy, woozy, or out of control. I am hoping to go natural...any tips to help with this anxiety I know it can only make things and labor worse if I have an anxiety attack. any help would be great thanks

Just wondering if anyone else's belly seems to feel heavier and 'pop' out more at night time? Mine always seems much rounder and more noticeable then, but when I wake up in the morning, it doesn't seem anywhere near as big. I'm 13 weeks. Wierd! :)
