I am a nervous wreck, and I have not really told too many people that I am pregnant...so no one to really vent to. Let me first start off by telling you a little about me. I am 29, and I am the mommy to an amazing almost-three-year-old son. My husband and I had been trying for our second for more than 3 cycles, but I had not been ovulating the previous months. .My cycles were crazy long too....like 40-60 days (so that is a lot of months trying). I never knew when I was ovulating...and come to find out, I wasn't all the time. The month that i got pregnant was a crazy one too. I revved up to ovulate a few times, had a LOT of positive OPKs, but without the thermal shift on my BBT chart. FINALLLY, on cycle day 27, I ACTUALLY ovulated. Took forever and a lot of baby-dancin', but it had FINALLY paid off.
Now I am basically terrified though. I had my quants done the other day...and they seemed great. It was 1182 at 17dpo. My doc wanted to order another after 48 hours, but this time ordered the Progesterone level too because I had told him that my temps were kind of low. My HCG doubled to 2315 at 19 dpo with a doubling time of about 42 hours, BUT my progesterone was terribly low. Only 10.3. They immediately put me on progesterone 200mg by mouth. I am a nervous wreck. Has anyone taken progesterone and carried to full-term? I just can't lose this little one. :( My first appointment is not until July 1st, and the wait is killing me.
