Haha Krissy... Who told you shrimp cocktails are raw? Raw shrimp is gray. When it is cooked it turns orange and curls up. Shrimp cocktails are often served chilled but they have definitely been cooked.

I'm in law school and I'm taking 8 hours next semester. I'm so scared because if I miss 7 classes then I'm automatically withdrawn, so I really gotta stick it out so I don't screw up my degree plan. Let's hope my BP stays low and baby is healthy!

Mine is low, too. No big deal. I wasn't given any restrictions or anything. They're just going to check it again at about 28 weeks to see if it has moved up on its own. That's usually what happens, but if not, I'll just have a c-section. No worries here :)

Mine is low, too. I am going back at 28 weeks to check it. The up-side is we get more ultrasounds! I don't mind the idea of a c-section. In fact, I think it would be nice to be able to schedule it and have some control. No restrictions here.

I say wait a couple of weeks. There's no rush. They're going to find out eventually and it's not like they need 4-5 months to plan for your maternity leave. Stay safe and hold off a bit. They'll figure it out soon and by then they'll know and like you. If they ask later why you didn't mention it earlier, you can just say you were focusing on starting the job and doing well, not worried about something coming in March.

Actually, formal etiquette says that someone who's not a relative must throw the shower to avoid having it look as though the family is asking for presents. My mom was concerned about this because I want her to be the one to organize it but we know technically it is incorrect etiquette. Luckily one of my girlfriends wants to help so I figured we'll just use her name as the hostess instead of my mom. Most people don't worry about that stuff these days but we can't help but consider what is acceptable for society ladies.

I'm doing a Hawaiian theme. We're not finding out if it's a boy or girl. It's fun, lots of bright colors, I painted a palm tree on the wall, hung a ukelele and surf board pictures and some parrots, and of course a hula girl lamp. Bedding is sea creatures
