(whew...my auto correct changed mommies to ninnies! Glad I caught that)
Some tips I've heard:
-Get a portable crib with a built in changing table
-If you're going to breast feed buy nipple balm!
-if you delivery vaginally make sure to bring home the squirt bottle from the hospital!

I'm in the best mood because I just got my fancy new BP monitor! I got the Omron 10 series. It is amazing! It is SO much more comfortable and quicker than my crappy old one from CVS. My doctor recommended the Omron brand and I'm so glad he did! I think my numbers will go down just because I'm not dreading using it like my old one that hurt and took 3 times longer. Yay for dorky things that make me happy these days like BP monitors and Bio Oil! :)

Hi ladies! I am 22 weeks pregnant and at my check up Wednesday my doctor said at my 20 week ultrasound they notices that my placenta was "a little low" they are not calling it placenta previa, nor am I on any restrictions. We will do a follow up ultrasound at some point so see if the placenta has "moved up". If not, a c-section will most likely be scheduled just to avoid possible hemorrage. Anyone experience this?

Hi ladies, I am in need of opinions/advice. I have been working at my current job since Feb 2011 and I absolutely HATE it. My bosses are a married couple, and as of right now I am the Office Manager. They are incredibly rude, talk down to me, and don't pay me sh*t! I have a degree in Environmental Studies & Urban Planning, but I realize times are tough and took a job doing this because my husband (he is military) and I needed the $. I have been applying for jobs since May of this year, because the stress of this job is just too much. My bosses are super sleazy business owners and it wouldn't surprise me if they decided tomorrow that they couldn't afford to pay me and just fired me. Well, I finally got a job offer from the Engineering Department with the City that I live in (so it will be a public sector/gov job) making more money, with better hours, and obviously it will be in my career field. They just offered the job today, and I accepted. Now I have to go take a drug test, which I will of course pass, then go back to talk to Human Resources later in the week. Do you ladies think I should tell the HR lady up front? Or wait and work a couple weeks then tell them? Or not take it at all? The job doesn't start until 9:30am, so I can schedule my appointments at 8am no big deal. I am 21 weeks and a few days, and SOOO nervous! Any advice is appreciated :-)

Any other moms in law school out there? I just finished my first year. I'm going part-time though so it will take 4 years instead of 3.

Here is my problem.. we have three people who want to throw me a baby shower. For starters my mom and hubby's mom manual to throw the shower. Which is understandable to they will most likely join together to throw me one. The problem is the other lady. She is like another mother to us. she was our wedding planner for free and my wedding turned out amazing.. She really wants to throw me the shower. As much as it means a lot to me. I feel my mom and hubby's mom should be the ones to do it.. how do I tell the other lady I don't want her to do it.. I don't wanna be rude.. :(
