Daycare

Anyone else putting their LO in daycare to go back to work? If so how much are u paying a week. My daughter will be 2.5 months when she starts and ill be paying $90 a week for part time care.

My dd will be 10 weeks and is starting daycare tomorrow:( and it's 175$ a week and I have to provide everything. That was one of the more reasonable places. I wish I could stay home but we could afford healthcare if I did. My job is flexible so I will be going there for lunch most days.

How long do you think us march mommys will be on baby bump till?? I cant imagine not going on everyday when my lo's older!

Why did you stop breastfeeding?

What was your reason to switch to formula? My lo is 7weeks, and iv been debating on continuing to ebf or to swich to formula. I love bfing my lo, but because i had to return to work so early (lo was 5weeks) due to financial problems i have pretty much been spending the majority of my time at home pumping, and hardly getting to spend time with lo. i know breast is best, but i feel like im missing out, i feel guilty for wanting to switch, i have been thinking about this for a while but i just can't bring my self to stop. what was your reason for switching?

I know exactly how you feel. I had to switch because I went back to work and couldn't find time to pump and had to pump so much at home I was miserable. The few hours at night I got to spend with my baby I spent pumping and it doubled feeding time at night. Also dd spits up lots more on breast milk than the soy. I still try and bf her at night when she will take it. I wish I didn't have to work but I have to. The decision isn't easy but you need to be happy for that baby so don't feel bad whatever choice you make.

Behind?

Idk I hate comparing babies, but my little girl is 6 weeks old today and I see all these posts of babies holding their heads up and stuff, but my lo can't yet. She won't even lay on her tummy without crying. She can lift up off my chest and look around but thats it. I feel like she's behind? Idk.. She smiles a lot in response to mommy smiles, but can't hold her head up. Is she the only one?

I have the opposite problem for tummy time. Every time I lay her on her belly for tummy time she falls right to sleep. Not sure it is really helping her if she just naps on her belly.

Bottle help!!!!

I need some help ladies! Which bottles are you using and do you like them? I was using tommee tippee bottles but over half of the slow flow nipples now leak and a few basically pour out the milk so bad it chokes dd. I contacted the company but not sure if I should replace the nipples or invest in a new bottle. Anyone else have this problem?

LO haaates carseat!

Anyone else's lo hate the carseat? My little guy starts off ok for about 5 minutes then completely loses it. He'll cry for a good 30 minutes until we take him out. It's torture :( he is one that loves to be carried and has a hard time staying asleep when we put him down so maybe he just wants to be carried. Anyone have tips for making a more enjoyable car ride? We try to play with toys, listen to music, give paci, give bottle... What other options are there besides taking the bus?!

Mine hates it to. I put a very small blanket in the arch of her back and it seems to help. I think the way she was sitting was giving her gas. I also put her in her seat 5-10 minutes before we leave and rock the seat and talk to her so she is calm when she gets in the car, although that doesn't always work. She also hates red lights!

We have the regular ones and only half of the nipples do that. Going to buy new nips today and try washing them different. just hate that some make her choke, it scares me.
