My lo is 5 months old and I was wondering if I can change the time my lo goes to bed and how to do it. He normally sleeps at 10:30 / 11:00 pm but I want him in bed at 8:00 along with his brothers and sister. Could I ever change it? Thx mummies xxx

Sorry ladies I just need to vent j am having a break down as you know I had my baby girl 2 weeks ago and I am struggling so bad with her and my 19 month old son I don't even have time for a proper shower I just don't know what to do I find my self crying because they are both crying and he is misbehaving my OH try's to help as much as he can but I am a mess. All she wants to do is be held or on my boob all the time my son is jealous because I am holding her all the time I try and spend as much time with him as possible but I just feel as if I am failing at being a mum. I don't want to talk about this to any of my family or my OH I don't want them to worry about me but I just don't know what to do anymore.

I have posted about this before but I keep seeing people talking about and recommending the use of powder.
Talc powder is a very dangerous product. It is linked with vulval and vaginal cancer and respiratory disease.
I have looked after too many women with vaginal/vulval cancers. It's awful!
Many baby powders still have talc in them, including Johnsons&johnson's.
Some baby powders are cornstarch based. These are fine.
To be clear, talc should not be used on babies OR adults.

About the name Dexter? Hubby & I like it, last pregnancy it was about the only boys name we both liked. Family keeps telling us not to use it tho.. Then again then didn't like our daughters name Phoenix either till she arrived! Opinions? I'm only 12w so plenty of time, just thinking names tonight lol

I just saw in r & r and then read the article that a women in Brazil gave birth to her fourth son.
There was awful complications and a team of doctors couldn't get the baby out. they tried for hours. the head of the baby was accidently taken off. they had to rush her in for emergancy c-section to remove the body.
they will sue for negligence

I am 40 +4 wks. Since saturday i have been gradually getting sick, as in cold/flu like symptoms. Today it is worse. Feel like crap, runny/blocked nose, sore throat, feeling like im burning up (temp is 37.1) and have no energy. Have had increased period-like pains the past 2 days that have woken me up at night aswell.
Is this all normal? Does it mean labour will be here soon? Should i call doctors coz of having flu like symptoms?

DH and i woke to a strange noise. Not a smash or bang but scary, I checked on 4y DS. DH thought it came from kitchen area and the cat knocked something over, he seen the cat sleeping in passage when he got up so he grabbed the baseball bat we checked all rooms then as I walked passed the kitchen there was a light shinning at me from the theatre room (opp kitchen) I yelled at the guy standing on our window edge inside the room so loud he froze, mili-second later DH was there and he ran off. I'm soooooo grateful we are all ok and that we caught him seconds before he was in otherwise there would have been a fight. Cops said they never seen crims pull those sml windows out of the chain reel and take the whole window off before.
I'm so terrified to be alone now, DH not going to work tomorrow but what about the nxt day!!
Once again I thank god we are all ok but it's pretty scary that they knew we were home and intentionally done this then (cops say they might be after DH ford in driveway)
