So today was supposed to be my "due date"...i can't seem to shake this feeling...I know our time will come but I guess today was just a sad reminder of what happened. I had hoped to be pregnant by the time this date rolled around, but I guess God has another plan for us... I shall keep my chin up and keep on truckin' ^_^ ~T
Hola chicas...queria saber si a alguna de usted les han sobado la matriz...fijense que ya van dos embarazos que pierdo y ahora si que ya me desespere... So not sure if it's just me but don't some of the posts females put on the "General Pregnancy" annoy you?...it's like, here we are trying EVERYTHING possible to conceive and those that are pregnant all they seem to do is complain about every single thing (my boyfriend this, my swollen feet that, I hate my in-laws) they should consider themselves lucky!... I miscarried in January (2nd one in June) and I would have been around 39 weeks so seeing all these complainers just irks me... ok, my venting session is over <<<sigh>>>
So after going thru my 2nd mc I decided to do a little research...and what I've noticed is that low progesterone may lead to a mc. After speaking with my dr he said that the "literature" doesn't support that but I was very adamant on receiving a treatment next time I fall pregnant, he has agreed to prescribe me some and also monitor my levels throughtout the first trimester... My question is, how many of you had progesterone checked and what were your levels?... During my first mc I had them checked and it was 15 and about two weeks later it had dropped to 11...I wish I would have asked my previous dr for supplements but I was so naive and had no clue what role progesterone played in pregnancy...now I know and I will not let that happen again. thnx, Teresa
I was told today that my pregnancy will be less than 1% viable. I went in for an ultrasound yesterday and it was only the sac measuring 4 wks, I should be 6 wks 3days. She tested my levels again and they did not double but they still rose some. 1 wk ago my hcg was 1460 and progesterone 13, and yesterday it was 3,361 and progesterone was 9.7. Problem is I am going to the uk tomorrow for just over a week and am wondering if I am going to start miscarrying naturally within that week or nothing will happen and then get d&c when I get back. I'm really scared that I will start to miscarry naturally there and be completely miserable. Does anyone know when the bleeding and cramping takes place? I was wondering if maybe it would wait awhile because my levels are not dropping yet just rising very slowly??
From everything I've read from your experiences, I think I would rather do the d&c and hope that it holds off a week.
This is so hard especially bc I haven't had any miscarriage symptoms and still feel very pregnant :(
Since your progesterone went down I would suggest you ask for supplements...that happened to me in January and I wish I would have asked for some progesterone...for some reason I feel that would have saved my pregnancy
