I'm hearing from a lot of moms that the first child very seldom comes early - and usually a bit late. For moms who've had a baby before, has this been your experience too? For cases where they came early, any specific causes? Just trying to think about my little one's ETA :)

Anyone heard of a Belly Cast, where you buy this kit and make a plaster molding of your stomach at home! It looks like a great and fun idea! I was wonderig if anyone else has done it and how did it turn out?

I am curious if anyone knows if there are signs other than the obvious that you could be leaking amniotic fluid. I am 35.5 weeks with my 2nd. 10 yrs between this one and my first so it's all kind of new to me again:) I put a pantyliner on because I noticed I had a little more discharge than before(sorry if it's tmi). I went to the restroom about 20 minutes ago and noticed that the pantyliner was really wet. I looked online and read somewhere that if you lay down for 30 minutes, if it's amniotic fluid it will pool up and as you stand it will leak. I put a new pantyliner on and am lying down. What are some other ways to detect if it's amniotic fluid? Color? Smell? Maybe I'm crazy or just really anxious to meet my little girl. Thanks for input.

Hi really hoping someone can help! I am really interested in havin a c-section. Iv had my 1st child vaginally and now 8 months on I'm still having nightmares about it. Some people say you don't bond with your baby as closely after a c-section, well in my case I was in complete shock after my normal birth and I hated my baby. And my recovery after was rough. The trauma of the birth completely took away the joy of it for me. I have considered the pros & cons and I really want a c-section this time. Does anyone know if I can request to have one on the NHS without a medical reason?

Ok so I'm 37 weeks and have been having pain in my groin area when I get up while walking and sometimes laying down i'm not due till may 30 and I can't wait!!! How should I deal with this pain??

K so I just woke up for the second time in 2 days having an erotic/wierd dream, I orgasmed and right afterwards woke up with bad cramping in very low abdominal area! Any ideas what this is all about? It's kinda scary and just plain weird! Any helpful info very much appreciated!
