I've been stingy as all eff this quarter, trying to cut our bill down!!!! And it just came in!!! Exactly the same usage as last quarter!!!! How the frig can this be right???
We average $800 a quarter, live in sydney and only 2 adults 1 baby live here!!! What's everyone else's average???

Ok so o really don't know what to do. Ds has started rolling but cannot sleep unless he is swaddled tightly.sometimes he breaks out if the swaddled and wakes up straight away. I have tried the one arm out wrap to wean him from the wrap but that DID NOT Work! I even took him to sleep school to give it up and after a few hours the sleep settlers gave up and said he's not ready. WTF do I do then? I went in after he fell asleep and loosened the swaddle so he could free his arms easily but he literally woke within 10ins of going that. I'm currently unable to sleep and staring at the baby monitor. What do I do to stop him from rolling? Help!

Just had some friends come over and they have an 8 month old , they have been to a sleep doctor and his method is
You feed and change bub, put them to bed then do not go back in till the morning. No matter how much they cry. (not controlled crying) I would never do this...
Opinions please? Anyone heard of this or tried it?

So was talking to a a new work colleague who asked what I was thinking of calling the bub. Told him I love the name Charlotte.. His response, 'oh, I don't like that name.. Charlotte the harlot!'
Really wanted to flatten him and now really put off my preferred name :(

DH and i woke to a strange noise. Not a smash or bang but scary, I checked on 4y DS. DH thought it came from kitchen area and the cat knocked something over, he seen the cat sleeping in passage when he got up so he grabbed the baseball bat we checked all rooms then as I walked passed the kitchen there was a light shinning at me from the theatre room (opp kitchen) I yelled at the guy standing on our window edge inside the room so loud he froze, mili-second later DH was there and he ran off. I'm soooooo grateful we are all ok and that we caught him seconds before he was in otherwise there would have been a fight. Cops said they never seen crims pull those sml windows out of the chain reel and take the whole window off before.
I'm so terrified to be alone now, DH not going to work tomorrow but what about the nxt day!!
Once again I thank god we are all ok but it's pretty scary that they knew we were home and intentionally done this then (cops say they might be after DH ford in driveway)

It took us ten years to fall pregnant. So with two preterm scares, terrible spd and swollen lateral ventricles on ultrasounds,it was a relief to make it to 38 weeks. Starting early labour pains and being 2cm dilated I was expecting labour to come easily and quickly. Omg how wrong was I.
At my 40wk apt on the friday my midwife new I was in pain and organised for my 41 wk apt to be the following wed where I was told I was 3cm and a stretch and sweep was done and an inducement apt made for 515pm Friday.
The cramps intensified to 5min contractions by Thursday and I was having trouble breathing thru the pain. So up to the hospital we went- straight into a brisvegas baby boom. Everyone was delivering. I was checked over and told i was still 3cm and given panadeine forte but there were no beds on the birth suite available so I would be admitted and bub would come before Friday which I was happy with.
5pm Friday I am still having 5min contractions and on panadeine as once again my labour was not progressing. I was taken down to the birth suite at 7pm and given gel to help progress then sent back to the ward and told my waters would be broken at 5am. So 1130pm I finally lay down to go to sleep- pop- my waters broke. Notified the nurse - crap no beds- contractions intensify- more water breaks at 2am. Finally at 4am a bed becomes available. My midwife assesses me at 5am 4cm. I try to walk thru the pain but cannot stand because of the pressure and im in agony so have a hot shower. Contractions become irregular one , two, four minutes apart. Some on top of each other. Allow for the drip to be put in to try and even them out. 6am drip starts, ask for the gas at 7ish after hubby was pleading with me to take pain relief. By 10am I'm in real pain and the dr comes in and says your 6cm, bub is posterior and in distress and your bp is falling, she has moved back up into the uterus -we need you to have an epidural to prep for a c-sect just in case we cant manipulate her back down. Ok then- hubby was being so supportive but looked like he wanted to cry - which I was doing lol.10 minutes later I wanted to push- dr checks 8cm, bub wants out now. Im being told dont push which I'm trying my hardest not to do. Still only on gas so apologies to all the ftms in the rooms nearby.
At 11 I'm in absolute agony and still trying not to push, Guy comes in and starts to do an epidural, whole hubby and midwife are holding me from not moving while I'm contracting 30sec to minute apart and trying not to push. Guy says im just doing a block and everyone's telling me don't move- not the easiest thing to do - The dr is monitoring bub and trying to assist as well.
By 1230 Spinal block is done- the guy doing it must have had the patience of a saint. I was so relieved.
Told I could push 15minutes later and bubs is born just after 1pm. Lily Joan - 8lb 13ounces, 55cm length, 35.5 hc, Couldn't feel a thing.
Umbilical cord wrapped around her neck and still distressed. Massive bruising in her head too which is swollen.
Paediatrician asses her while I'm having some minor stitches- lovely.
She has to be monitored in nicu because it's a bleed under her skin as she was stuck on my pelvic bone and being posterior I couldn't get out. Hence the long labour and not being able to walk.
I'm allowed to feed and cuddle her before hubby takes her to the nicu with the nurse.
So it is now 443am Sunday morning and I have just managed to wake up from a /hr sleep before I head down to bub again. She feeds wonderfully every 1 1/2 hrs. She is beautiful. I love her so much and I couldn't thank my hubby, midwifes or doctors enough if I tried. They have been so amazing.

had someone friend or foe be jealous of you for everything ans copy cat you? i got pregnant n i swear this girl did too when my husband posted about being a father to a handsome boy on facebook. she used to work with me and if i had somethijg she either got the same thing or tried to get something better. she knows i hate her guts bc she was one of the reason my bff committed suicide. i threatened the copy cat the day before she died (she slit her wrist the day before) at the restaurant we worked at. so she knows i cant stand her. but in the beginning of why i hated her was that i was dating a guy and he ended up cheating on me with her. tried to rub it in my face and all that. she ended up.cheating on him with her moms bf. shes awful. like after i saw her and shes pregnant i just want to be like really?! bc she commented on my husbands page about me being prego n now shes almost the same amount as me. idk maybe im being hormonal bout it but it querk me lol. crazy women.
