Our natural birthing coach gave me this tip thought I would share and hopefully get some others!
Chammomile ice pack pads.
Take your pads or pantyliners put them on a cookie sheet on wax paper pour fresh chammomile tea on them and let them absorb put in freezer and freeze take out and stack with a small piece of wax paper in between each one. Use after birth as a healing ice pack.

Well my lo has the most awful nappy rash at the moment î˜ He is almost 14mths & it is really bothering him...I try to be so gentle when I'm changing him but you can see him tensing up when I'm in that area. I'm trying to give him nappy free time with him just wearing training pants to try & air it out...if the little bugger didn't wee so much i'd love to let him have a bit of commando time! Anyway just putting bepanthen on it at the moment & also having a couple of baths a day to freshen him up. Any tips or remedies for my poor little man would be much appreciated 

unfortunately I'm 8 days over so in hospital and have had 2 lots of gel. they'll be breaking my waters at 2pm as I'm not having any contractions. I'm very upset as I never thought this would happen as I wanted natural.
so I'm relaxing now and listening to my hypnobirthing tracks to try open my cervix and will have lunch then start walking around and go back to birth suite for them to break my waters.
if anyone has had a natural labour after induction, I'd love some words of encouragement :)

My beautiful daughter, Austyn Rosalee is here. I went into labor Thursday afternoon ( on my due date ). I had no idea I was in labor, as I have had SO many bh throughout my pregnancy and just assumed that was all it was. Around 6pm the contractions were about 5 min apart. I still didn't think anything of it because they didn't hurt much. I finally called my midwife around 7pm and told her they were 4 mins apart but didn't really hurt. She said to give it an hour and call her back. At 8 pm they were 3 mins apart and my midwife told my husband to bring me in. I still thought that the contractions would stop soon because they still didn't hurt and like I said, I have had bh throughout my entire pregnancy. It was a 45 minute drive to the birthing center and about 15 minutes away POP. My water broke. That's when the contractions really started hurting! When we got to the birthing center I could barely walk from the car to the door. My midwife checked me and I was 4cm dilated. I immediately hopped in the bath tub. This was around 10pm. Th contractions were so painful. I could feel her moving down with each one. I stayed in the tub around an hour. My midwife and husband had to help me get from the tub to the bed because I was in a lot of pain. I got to the bed and was fully dilated and had to start pushing. The pushing feels better than the contractions. I think I pushed for about an hour. give or take. Finally my mw sees the head and out it came. Then the shoulder then an arm and then PLOP! Out she came. Right onto my chest. It was so surreal. At that moment you completely forget about all the pain you just went through. She was beautiful and perfect. I then delivered the placenta (which was no biggie) and my mw cleaned her up. I then nursed her for a little bit, got cleaned up, and we were on our way home. Austyn was born at 1235am and we were home by 3am. it was amazing and perfect. It was definitely the most pain I have ever been in, but so, so worth it. Recovering at home has been great.

hey ladies, just wondering if any of your edd have been a fair bit out between lmp and your scan.
for example, my lmp date is 12th October but my scan date and the date my docs going by is the 6th (yesterday) which is about a week, so a not just a few days.
the reason I'm asking is cause I want to go all natural without being induced but don't know what date I should be going by.
baby very low, 2/5 above the brim.
thanks in advance :) x
