How often do you call your pediatrician for things? I'm a first time mom to a 5 week old and he is having tummy troubles. Constipation and then vomiting and having trouble passing gas. I have called twice about this so far and I have changed formula and they made me cut his oz feeding in half (4oz to 2oz) and put a tablespoon or two of rice cereal in his bottle and he's still having issue and I don't know what to do any more. I don't like seeing and feeling like he's still hungry and I don't like seeing and hearing him be uncomfortable. But don't want to keep calling about the same issue. They told me his very first appointment to call with any questions since I'm new at this but I don't want to get crazy but I'm so confused at what to do about his tummy. And im sure there will be other issues in the future. What is too much as far as calling? And if I feel like I don't agree with what they say( like I think rice cereal at 5 weeks is crazy. He's too young) can I change? Or do I stick with the same one?

Any of you May Mommas getting your boy circumcised?
I told my OB I wanted to since OB will be the one performing it, and he gave me a 15min lecture on why I shouldn't do it. Then he ended with "but if you really want it, which I advise you not to.. I can do it" and just walked out of the room.
I still want to circumcise but totally left my OBs office not feeling very confident in his ability to be the one to perform it. I want to be sure that he does know what he is doing and that he's confident in doing a procedure like that!
Any of you run into similar situations?
(If your totally against circumcision, that's great and you have every right to be, but please don't give me another lecture on why I shouldn't do it.)
