Cristolynn, CF is a genetic disorder that effects the lung and digestive system, it's not a STD. Maybe you have the name wrong!!!

I am a mum of three and a nanny for the past 20 years, if your son has been like this since he was born I would say suggest that he is just like this with his food. The more you make a issue out of it the more he will protest. Have you had any tests to rule out food allergies or problems with his digestion? Does he appear to be in pain or discomfort after he eats/drinks, did anyone mention silent reflux. If he has been ruled out of physical problems then it is just him. Try offering him little bits of food often, its amazing how much food a LO will consume over the course of a day if they graze. Try not to worry, I know it's easier said than done:) what ever you do don't let them tube feed him unless he has a medical problem as you will find it harder than ever to feed him normally:) Good Luck hun.

It looks like what my daughters all had in Australia we call it a hormone rash, can appear all over there body or just one area, I noticed it looked worse when my dd was hot and looked better after a bath. Usually starts when baby is a couple of weeks old and can last until 8-10 weeks. Also doesn't matter if breast or bottle feed, it's just a normal reaction to the hormones releases from you during pregnancy and child birth:) hope this helps. Oh they were raised spots and sometimes they would look like little pimples.

OMG that is terrible. You are very lucky you didn't heamorrage. I would be having serious words to whoever is in charge. Make sure they give you a course of antibiotics. If that was me I would be seriously pissed off.....

Just use good old olive oil, your baby's hair will look bad but it really works. Use it until all the cradle cap is gone, then use it a couple of times a week.
