I've been ebf my almost 4 month old. Today we signed her up for daycare in September when I go back to work. They were going over all the information with me and asked if she was on solids yet, and seemed surprised when I told her we hadn't introduced any food yet. I assumed by about 6 months when she starts daycare MAYBE we would dabble in it, but not 4 months! Is this weird? She gave me this look and said "well typically 4 months is when we see babies introduced to foods." I was a little surprised because she obviously handles a lot of babies and I must be the odd one out that didn't even think of introducing solids until at least 6 months, or whenever my baby started showing interest in food.
Husband is finally wanting to have sex after baby has been born. But doesn't use a condom. Should i just refuse to do it? 3 month old breastfeeding , not ready for another!
Breastfeeding isn't a reliable fork of birth control. And when it works best is when baby doesn't take a paci and comfort nurses on mom.

Pull out method is a joke that I can't believe anyone over the age of 16 believes works - lol - its called the cowper's gland and it secretes semen before orgasm/penetration.

Good luck! I feel you. Hubby isn't into condoms but he used one cause neither of us are wanting another baby. Especially not right now.
Just curious on opinions. My son is 9 and when in public unless my husband or dad is with us I make him go with me to the women's restroom. I won't let him go to the men's alone bc I am terrified that some perv will expose himself or touch my son. I hear about stuff like this all the time. My son isn't crazy about it but he understands my reasons.... So what do you guys do or plan to do with your sons?
Help need some more breakfast ideas for my picky one yr old he eat the usual eggs bananas peanut butter n toast but no cereal or yogurt he won't touch the stuff n I know he's getting bored of the food I'm offering I need more ideas or some creative mixtures any ideas please shout them out
Our normal breakfasts are:
-eggs with sausage and cheese, toast and fresh fruit
-fruit and yogurt smoothies
-oatmeal with fresh or frozen fruit
-yogurt, toast and fresh fruit
-homemade waffles or pancakes and fresh fruit

She loves helping stir the waffle mix and watch the colors on the waffle iron. Yogurt is harder to get her to eat - when she was little, I just got the big containers and made a bowl with yogurt and fruit.
This child is eating non stop and won't sleep more than an hr. and only if she is on me. If u lay her down she's up immediately! She dozes for a min then squirms like she uncomfortable and gets mad. I can't understand all this! Is it a growth spurt that's got her so angry?
Can someone explain this? I breast feed & sometimes they feel like there contracting. Every time I turn on water as well they get super tight is this just a breast feeding thing? This is my first time breast feeding my LO is in the NICU so I only pump for now, but they get so tight it hurts but then relax about 15-30 seconds later but it feels like a pulling contraction(only way I can explain the feeling in my boobies lol) could it be a blocked duct?
Anyone feeding lo quinoa instead of rice cereal. I just made some today and will try it tonight. I know its incredibly nutritious and easy to digest. Wondering how you prepare yours?
