What is this and what should I do to help it clear up? LO is 7wks Friday and never had baby acne or cradle cap. This showed up three days ago.

Medicine pacifier

Has anyone used one? I'm thinking of getting one to try for giving our little one 3ml Prilosec 2x a day. Currently we use a little syringe dropper thing and squirt it little by little into her mouth while she screams, gags and gulps... I'm looking for any way to make it less traumatic for all of us but I have my doubts that the pacifier will actually work. Wouldn't she just spit it out as soon as she realized it tasted funny?

I do the same as BabyNaf, or try squirt a little at a time into the side of her mouth, it makes it easier for them to swallow and less likely to get choked on or spat out.

Some people are clueless with foot in mouth disease! My LO was just over 9lb born & at his 6 week check yesterday he was 12.5lbs. Doc said i'm obviously looking after him well, everything in his growth chart has gone up proportionally & he's just going to be a big strong healthy boy.

I don't, but i do offer my LO an extra 50ml bottle about 1/2 hr after his last nightime bottle ( usually between 11-12pm) Most times finishes it sometimes not. That little bit extra seems to fill his tummy up that little bit more and he sleeps for a 4-6hr stretch. I also found if wrap him in a muslin (not too tight because he likes to get his arms out) then place a light blanket over him so he doesn't get too hot or cold he seems much more comfy. I think it's just a matter of trying a few diff things or like you said, waiting it out a few weeks.

My LO gets rashy like this when he's hot and sweaty. He also gets it in the crook of his arm where he flexes it. I rubbed a small amount of J&J pure cornstarch powder to help keep it dry. Iv'e also been putting a little sorbelene cream on his scalp and eyebrows after each bath because his skin seemed really dry there. It has helped.

Cries for bowel movement...

Just wondering if that's normal I'm a ftm & was just wondering if its normal for a baby to cry during a bm. Also how many should she have a day? Since she's on this formula she's been having one big one a day.

I have been told and read that 5-6 days is normal for some babies also.....Although I personally wouldn't like to see my LO go any longer than 2 days without a BM purely because i know any longer than 24hrs and he strains more than normal and so much comes out 2-3 times that day that surely it can't be comfortable? I know if i go longer than 2-3 days without a BM im not comfortable at all.

We had to change DS formula as we had him on a Gold formula that had added things to it and his system just couldn't tolerate it as well. We changed to the original type of the same brand formula and he poops without crying now and his stools are way softer and not formed like when he is on the Gold.

Abnormal pap test results

My dr. Called yesterday and left a message saying he had the results back from my pap last week and wanted to talk to me about it and would call me back today. He has never called with my results before so I'm kinda nervous sitting by the phone waiting! Has anyone else had abnormal results and what happened????
