If i am infact pregnant i figure 17th would be my EDD. I have a dr appointment in 2 days for blood work (pertaining to a previous m/c) and am holding off on takin any more preg tests til my dr visit. Ugh! This waiting crap is for the birds tho!
I'm 21 and 22 by the time I have my second baby, i live independently with my partner and personally I think, if your ready to have children ( at a suitable age) I agree but some people on here are soo judgemental it's unreal. It doesn't mean your going to be a crap parent if your under 30. Just letting you know my opinion would live to hear others ?
Congrats ladies. I am an older mom - will be 36 or 37 when #2 arrives (due right around my birthday).

I agree... age does not make a parent. Age is a number, it's everything else that is important. I think it can be more difficult to be a parent wgen you're really young if you don't have supports in place, etc, but lots of older mom's don't either. I would have had my kids younger if my life had been different when I was in my 20's. I sure would have had more energy!

I'm 8 weeks today and I really want to tell my mom I'm pregnant but I'm not married and she's super judgemental. I really need her but I just don't want to hear her mouth. I have enough stress as it is and I can't go back and change anything soooo now I'm stuck hiding my pregnancy from her.
I have a headache. It won't go away and I'm on the verge of years. I tried essential oils, even resorted to Tylenol (which didn't work, as expected). I ate a protein rich dinner and have been hydrating like crazy. Can anyone suggest a (preferably natural) solution to kicking this headache? I'm going crazy right now!
Lots of water - dehydration can often be the problem. I also find a cup of tea/coffee does wonders (if you haven't consumed much) - I've cut down to one a day from 2-3. Even when not pg I find the caffeine can help.

I also agree with naps!
I guess bloat... Sorry mama. Your uterus is still really low. I popped around 20 weeks with #1, but I loved when my bloat made me feel pregnant. I had a bump lying down long before anyone else could tell.
I'm getting extremely impatient. I just want to hear baby's heartbeat and see baby just so I know everything is okay in there. I have to wait until July 8th to "possibly head a heart beat" I'm also going for nuchal translucency screening on July 9th I'm also nervous about that! Has anyone ever had this screening done? What should I expect, will I get to see baby?
NT screening is usually a routine testing that gets done if you have a 12 week scan. We had it done with our first during our 12 week scan - they are also looking at other aspects of baby including size etc. Your 20 week scan is more about looking at organs etc.

Im sure you can opt out of the NT screening. We knew that the results would have no bearing on our decision to keep the baby, but it was pretty amazing to see him bouncing around in there at only 12 weeks.
