Should I get acupuncture?

So I'm 39+3 tomorrow and am wandering if I should get the inducing acupuncture tomorrow or wait to I'm 40 weeks.... I can only afford one session :(

So peeved at acupuncture

So I've spent $210 on 3 sessions of acupuncture, where every time I went they said at if it didn't start labour it at least helps thin the cervix! What crap! Just been to the midwife and she said cervix is 1cm open and thick..... Don't waste your money

Yea I saw two different ones both apparently specialize in pregnancy but they seemed to do different things, I don't even have confidence they were in the exact spot.... Could have used that money in better things :(

Can I change my mind ??

Trying not to panic but I think I have changed my mind, I really don't want to go through labour !.

I an being induced tomorrow morning. This is baby number 3 and induction number 3 so I am know exactly what is coming. My doctor has already told me I will have an episiotomy as I tore with both of the other two.

Am very very excited to meet my LO and can't wait to find out if it is a boy or a girl, just freaking out tonight :)

Thanks for listening to my panic attack. Wish me luck tomorrow ladies :)

Oh yay! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for us both! I do hope your right and I go into labour tonight I just never feel like its going to happen :( if I'm still here tomorrow night I might get the castor oil too! Let me know how it goes!!!

I think it's different to reflexology, we have a place 10 minutes from us called Thai massages I think it's something like $85 to do your feet... I think they all press similar points though so if you don't have a Thai place you could just get a reflexology one

How did it go at your Doctors? I went for a hour and twenty minute walk nearly killed me lol, my feet swelled up in my shoes and gave me blisters that's about the most pain I got out of the darn walk! I did have a 10 minute reflexology done on my feet, only charged me $15 as he only pressed the points in the midwife sheet. Having a little bleeding from the stretch and sweep which she told me is normal, hoping something happens tonight when DD goes to bed and I relax

I'm 41+3 I had one prep session than 2 inducing sessions (not with a machine) just twisting the needles..... Nothing at all so disappointed :(

Well she did it said my cervix was open 1cm and thick which is normal for second pregnancies, fingers crossed! I'm so peeved I wasted all that money at acupuncture but. Good luck for this afternoon!
