Ok I need to lose weight!!!

This is going to be hard for me!! I love my sweets and don't eat the best. I have a hard time telling myself no, and before I got pregnant, I could eat whatever and not gain! I need to lose 50 to get back to my pre pregnancy weight, not looking forward to it, but I'm sick of looking like this! What is working for you ladies trying to lose weight?

I've lost 38 pounds so far, 31 more to go! I've been breastfeeding and just had my six week checkup so clear to start working it! I just started dance central for the kinect. I like it. Before I got pregnant I had a hard time eating. During pregnancy I couldn't stay out of the kitchen, post pregnancy I'm back to not being interested in food. I had to buy meal replacement shakes and eat two meals a day.

Just packed a bag or extras for ds and myself for the nasty storms that are going through. Pray that we won't need them and everyone stays safe tonight.

2 month shots..

who got them all, who just got some, and who got none? I finally caved and gave my lo the dtap today at his 2 month appointment. wasn't going to do any till 6 months but heard someone's 2 month old passed away from pertussis. that scared me! so I caved. i hope I did the right thing. I've just been so stressed about figuring out what to do. didn't want to do the wrong thing. anyone else feel the same way?

We are doing the same as PP. Haven't worked out the logistics yet but the doctors are willing to help make a schedule so she doesn't get all her shots at once, which means more visits to get shots but I think, hopefully worth it to not give her everything at once. My niece just got her two month shots and ended up in the hospital the next day with a fever. B

birthmarks????

who's LOs have birthmarks? my ds has a huge purple-reddish one on the heal of his foot. its like a huge blob and one little piece that looks like a maraca lol guess its the mexican in him haha he also has a little brown one on his shoulder.

My daughter has a big strawberry one on the side of her right knee. We're going to see the pediatrician about it in June although I had birthmarks growing up so I don't see us doing much about it. It will fade. She also has a heart shaped Mongolian birthmark on the top of her foot, that one will go away, although it would be cute if it didn't. My husband and I have heart shaped tattoos on our ring fingers instead of rings and we say she came with her own.

napping...help!

my 8 week old will only nap on the couch! but she moves sooo much somebody has to be sitting next to her. so we ate trying to get her to nap in her pack n play. its not working...she screams after 5 mins like someone is killing her! any suggestions?

Not the best day.....

I have a great hubby, really I do, but he didn't even get me a card for my first mother's day. I know he just didn't think of it but it really stinks :(

It was my sisters first mothers day too and her boyfriend didnt get her anything either, she left him. He's a loser though and she's always leaving him.

Thrush??

My little one 6 weeks old had some white spots on lips and I think a bit on mouth. Maybe thrush?? Anybody else have this and do I do anything for it? Doesn't seem to be bothering her. Thanks :)

I looked it up online... It looks like its just chapped lips and normal.

My daughter has this too. It feels hard to touch on her lips and the middle part of her top lip has peeled off like 4 times. it's the only white part in her mouth. It doesn't bother her. It seems like it's chapped. I have an appointment next week.

Anyone have one? Worth the money? I want one for when we put our lo in his own room but dh thinks I'm nuts. We have a baby audio monitor and he thinks that's enough but I'm so freaked out about SIDS. Tired of losing sleep and worrying so much!

We have the tommee tippee sensor. It goes under her mattress and if she stops moving it sounds an alarm. I love it! Although she has a tendency to wiggle off of it and then the alarm goes off but that just made me feel better about when she heads into the side of the crib.
