I didnt know that it could be done until my child health nurse told me

I gave up BF 5 weeks ago due to complications and when i found out i could relactate i wanted to give it a go...

What i have found though is unless you are possibly prepared to exclusively pump it isnt worth starting the process... My boy would not latch on, he just didnt seem to know how anymore and i tried over several days...

Not saying ur little one wont :) but maybe find out first and then start the process if u r prepared to just pump :)

Best of luck

My five year old started having them about a year ago, i didnt know wat it was at first and i would b crying sitting with him because i didnt know wat was going on... Definately horrible but i am better with it now that i know wat it is and how to deal with it...

There is nothing u can really do except try to make sure theyr not over tired wen they go to sleep (i think impossible with a 6 week old) im sorry u r going thru this, i truly know the pain

A little bit of olive oil massaged into the scalp after a bath.. U dont need to wash it out and can even use it to gently massage the baby all over... Im not a huge fan of baby oil bcaus unless its natural it can clog the pores of the skin... (just Look at all the ingredients in it) :)

Im exactly the same, i could not sleep bcaus i was constantly checking if the baby was breathing... Totally paranoid :)
So we bought a sensor mat that goes under the matress of the crib/cradle and sounds an alarm if the baby stops breathing (moving) ... Completely worth the money for the peace of mind and sleep :)

Check ebay if interested, a few diff brands and prices
