Hey my names Dee, it's baby number 3 for me. All girls Too!! I am 2o weeks prego due 9/7. I am alot heavier this time around, do I still don't feel the baby move yet, and when I go to my doctors they have a harder time finding the heartbeat without the ultrasound machine, that sucks and is kinda embarrasing. Damn you belly fat! Both my others I did not have this problem at all. It is very tough to be heavy and preggo! I already have gestational diabetes. Still trying to be positive atleast on this diet I won't gain much weight ha ha. But in the end it's all worth it right!!!! It's good to have a place to vent
Katenbump, many times it's not that simple. In my case, I was put on strong doses of steroids and other meds when severe chemical burns would not heal. Despite a carefully controlled vegetarian diet and exercising a MINIMUM of two hours a day, I gained over 100 pounds in less than 6 months. Now, four years later, I have only gained more and no doctor has been able to help me come to a solution. It's frustrating... especially when there are people out there who judge those who are overweight as people who "just need to diet and exercise."

OP, I'm so sorry your missing out on the early moments. I have dealt with a few myself and understand your frustration. Luckily my diet has helped keep away the GD, but I haven't had much luck feeling movement and the midwife had some trouble finding the heartbeat with the Doppler.... it can be scary at times.
Maybe just a snapshot of all of you if you are planning on being in the forums? I'll start!
My name is Lindsay. I am 25 and from Stillwater, MN. I have a 4 year old daughter named Zoe and we are expecting #2 on September 24th. We haven't found out the gender yet but will find out in about four weeks.
Hello all! I'm Tonya, I'm 31 and live in Wisconsin. My husband and I are expecting our first on September 22... right between my dad's and his dad's September birthdays! We're hoping for a boy. We have to wait a whole month to find out yet. :(
Oh, love this new baby name tool! Yea! I'm deciding between 3 combinations of names and need help. I'm having a girl and I like the name Layla and Leighton. Does it sound weird if I use both of those names? Here are my front runners: Layla Rae, Leighton Rae, or Layla Leighton. What do you ladies think?
I have been the same. First trimester was a breeze, but since my second started I'm more tired and sick constantly. No one seems too concerned yet, but I know I'm hoping this passes soon!
is it me or is it rude for complete strangers to touch my belly? I mean I KNOW I'm pregnant and my belly is sticking out but am I wrong for thinking people shouldn't touch my belly? What do I say to these people without sounding rude?
This one always amazes me. I have yet to understand why complete strangers feel it's okay to touch a woman so intimately... most the time without asking first... just because that woman is pregnant.

My solution has been to either comment that I'm "just fat, not pregnant" or to do as another said and return the unwelcome touch. The looks are always priceless. LOL Sure, it's probably a bit rude, but no more so than what they did!
