So my little boy is 9 weeks old, from around 3 weeks he became very fussy always crying, being sick etc, doctor says he has acid reflux and is on gaviscon infant and renitadine, no sign of improvement bought dr brown bottles incase of colic as infacol does not work!!! He feeds ok some bottles he will sick up and is so unsettled at night time still :( I feel like a failure because I cannot settle him!!! What advice does anyone have? X

Usually I like to do lots of research before I buy things, figuring out what the best brands are, where the most value is, what the trusted names are, etc. But I also usually have a little more insight on the products I'm purchasing and in this area, since I'm a ftm, I'm at a total loss! I've been told to get a boppy and a bumbo seat and things like that but I really need opinions on anything and everything else!

So, fellow moms, I'm looking for your honest opinions and product reviews on your favorite baby stuff, anything from cribs to bottle warmers to monitors! What do you recommend and what would you stay away from? Feel free to comment on as much or as little as you'd like and hopefully this can be of assistance to other ftms as well!

I have Dr.browns bottles which we loved. but they have been clogging and acting funky this past week. I've tried evenflow bebek bottles and avent as well. he won't seem to latch on to the nipples because they aren't longer and skinny like the Dr.browns..any advice?

Had my baby on the 27th after several hours of being Induced I recommend HAIR DETANGLER! Omg had to brush my hair In the shower with conditioner to detangle the nots I had after labor. Usually i can handle it but who wants to add more pain after delivery to themselves right! Put it on your lists!

hi all! here's our update!
so I woke up Friday 3-2-12 with bad contractions really long & close, sat in the tub for an hour to get them to stop, then tried to go to sleep, it wasn't working out, I would get to where is fall asleep & then another contraction would hit, I felt like they was far apart but they were about 5-10 mins apart lasting 1-3 mins, called my doc at 11am he said to go to l&d. got there at 12:30 bc I had to have some rallys fries! lol get there & I'm still a one but contacting so since I was to be induced at 6pm they kept me to see if I progressed.. at about 8pm she checked me & I was a 2, they had me on a cathiter (sp?) bc my protein was 2plus, but I felt like I peed on myself & she said one of my waters broke. but the for water hadn't broke yet.. by this time I was very ill & vomiting so bad there was an assembly line at my bed of nurses & family with puke buckets & wash cloths running back & forth... they gave me my epi at 3cm then I was finally able to sleep between puking.. I don't remember much after my epi. I remember her checking me & my for water breaking then she said I was 7cm & to call my doc (so happy he was on call to deliever me).. then I remember looking at the door & my doctor walking in he checked me & said were ready! I was sleeping between puching & vomiting.. they said hold your legs & bear down chin to chest & push. I pushed 3 times & they saw his head, she said next contraction push again, then I fell asleep, then she said push, I pushed 3 times & felt a lot of relief & then I saw my baby boy! then I fell asleep & woke to hubby cutting the cord, then they laid my baby boy on my chest for an hour for kangaroo care, then took him to the nursery & me to a room my bp went to 200something over 100 something so they bed rested me and put me on mag... Brody Landon James was born 3-3-12 at 3:39am (my prediction was 3:33 but 3x3 is 9, my lucky number is 3) weighing 5lbs 13oz 18 1/2 in long & I wasn't able to see him but 2 times until 3-3-12 when they moved me to recovery, at 8pm I was up & moving an hour after they had me off my mag. I was released 3-5-12 at 10am .

my baby boy is doing awesome, he is too too cute! he's 4 days old now & today was my due date :) I only have a 1st degree tear & they didn't need anything to help brody out of me :) sorry it took us soo long to update..

I had my baby girl Vivianna 2/27/12 @7:17 7lbs 9.6 ounces, 19 inches long! Loving her sooooo dang much!

I'm so excited, nervous and anxious! Can't wait to hold my baby girl!
