I have a lot of these, but someone mentioned a Sonic ad in a commercial and it made me laugh.
I once pulled into the drive thru at Rally's because I really wanted a cherry slushie. The girl working told me they didn't have those. I proceeded to tell her all about the commercial on tv and I got kinda fussy with her. She said," Are you thinking of Sonic?"
I turned 6 shades of red, took my foot off the brake and cruised away in shame.
I am a dork.

So I'm 40+3, 2 cm dilated, and 70% effaced as of today. I had another sweep today to help labor start. I really want a natural delivery but if my little girl doesn't come by next week, I'll be induced. 😔
Has anyone with the same stats had a relatively smooth and fast labor after being induced? I also want to avoid an epidural still. I was told the hardest part is getting the cervix to dilate and thin, and because my body has already done that, it shouldn't be as torturous as the ones who go in without any dilation or effacement.
Any positive stories people can share?
