What is NST Observation? Did you do it? Will you?

NST is non stress test which means that they put two monitors on your belly, one is for contractions one is for lo heart beat, with these on you cannot walk around so if you can opt for intermittent then do so because walking can help progress your labor, I have had to have NST's twice a week for the last two weeks and it is so boring just laying there still so the things can monitor

NST is not something you choose to do, it is something your doc has you s because of complications or worry.

NST observation is an option during labor in some L&D if you want to be constantly hooked to the monitor, I know mine gives you the option unless you have any reason such as an epidural or high risk complication in which they want you constantly hooked up
