Are you sure it's not subchorionic hematoma? That's a collection of blood that can cause the placeta to separate from the uterus...I just googled hematoma in uterus an that's what came up.

Try looking it up without the sub in front of it... I'm not sure but I think it's like a growth pushing on the placenta or uterus!! Keep us updated.

I was taking a look online as I was diagnosed with a subchorionic hematoma, but wanted to know about this. I only found the following info on something called "decidual bleeding" : Decidual bleeding is a type of light bleeding that can occur at intervals in early pregnancy around the times that a woman would have expected her menstrual period. Decidual bleeding is not a true menstrual period, but it is the most common reason why some women who report having had "periods" during pregnancy.

I'm not sure if it's anything related but it could be something related. But a hematoma is the same thing. It means a blood clot.

What I have been told is that they can heal themselves and normally do. The u/s being repeated is the best thing!

Have they by chance done an internal to ensure your cervix is closed?

i have not had any bleeding no cramping...nothing. there was just a small area in the first us that showed a different color than everything else and they said it was old blood. they told me it is nit the same at the sub chorionic or whatever its called. my second us didbt show the spot again and my body must have absorbed it in a weeks time.
