will it be Okay to lift this baby?

I'm almost 14 weeks and next week I wanted to keep my fiances, cousins baby for the day, he's a beautiful 10 month old baby boy and I love him to death! I figured it'd give me the baby experience since this is my first, problem is, this baby is very chunky! and weighs over the normal average! will I be Okay to pick him up? I mean I'm sure moms do it everyday! so I don't see why I couldn't do it one

I lift a 25lb 2 1/2 year old everyday...I'm now 33 weeks and all is ok :) if you feel like its a strain to you then don't pick him up.

my little sisters are 8 they weigh about 50 pounds I'm guessing but I pick them up when they come and jump to me it hasn't hurt me before (total no no I know but they love me)and I don't strain to pick them up I think you will be fine unless you are straining to carry him.

Idk, I'd ask the doc. Dfs sisters kid is fat. She's only 2 and weighs 50+ lbs. (more than my 4.5 year old).

I tried picking her up once and it about killed me. Eff that.

It depends on your body.. I'm 31wks and can still easily lift 50lb bags and such.. I used to lift a lot more then that prepregnancy so for me it's no prob.
My doctor said my body will tell me when I'm doing to much

I'm 23 weeks with twins and lift my 23lb son up. I'm not suppose to since I've had complications but it has to be done sometimes. As long as you've had no complications in your pregnancy you should be just fine!
