My brother is overseas and just skyped me and my daughter. Tomorrow he leaves for his final mission before going home. He seemed very nervous and admitted he is scared. I didn't know what to say so I just told him I will keep praying for him. Im crying my eyes out and don't want my dd to see me. I don't know what I would do if I lost him!

Thank you, The more prayers the better. The guys in his unit are a**holes and have been asking him if he called his wife and kids to say goodbye and if he made his will yet!

I have family over seas and I hate getting those calls from my uncles.

well. I know how you feel my hubby is in Afghanistan. and I was in the army. we had to sign a life insurance policy JUST incase somethin happened. I wish I could say it gts easier but it doesn't. just keep yourself busy.

I pray for a safe return for your brother. He will be home soon to be with you and your family again. I know nothing will help until you have him home again.

His name is Ryan, he wont be coming home home since he is stationed elsewhere but at least he will be with his family and out of a war zone. I can't wait until he does come home so I can give him a big hug and so he can meet his new nephew!

Praying for your brother!! my cousin was in special forces and did 5 tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, I was so scared everytime he'd call, I couldn't watch the news for fear of seeing his name or something. But he returned home each time safely. But I will def be praying for his safe return back to the states!!

Father God, please lay Your hands of protection over Ryan while he's away from his family. I pray that You bring him home safely so He can be the husband, father, brother and son You want him to be. Thank You Jesus. In Your Name I pray, amen!

my husband is n the same situation, he has to lead a convoy to a place his unit has never been, another unit was there 2 days ago & 3 Marines got killed & 3 severely injured (ied strike) :-( its his last mission b4 he comes home. I pray ur brother stays safe along w my husband.

Ill say a prayer for him. My husband is a marine and is leaving in march for afganistan, our first baby together is due in april. God bless all the men and woman.

Well, I talked to my brothers wife and I feel much better now! Still scared for my brother but this is the life he chose for himself and his family. I get to see them in June and can not wait!
