Hi all,

The majority of the glitches and errors our members experienced this week have been identified and repaired.

Your patience has been so appreciated while the tech team works through the technical issues that stemmed from an update on our infrastructure earlier this week.

The development team, while immensely talented, is small in comparison to one found at a large company. The devs have been hard at work repairing the errors you have escalated to us via the email support channel and on the forums. Your help has been invaluable, and the responses some of you have sent with words of encouragement and understanding have been shared and appreciated.

Numerous fixes have been put into place over the past few days, but the developers are aware that there are still issues that need to be resolved.

You can help them emmulate what you are seeing so that they can address the tech issue as quickly as possibly by providing the following information:

A description of the error or glitch
A step-by-step guide on how to recreate the error or glitch
Your device type
Your platform type (iOS or Android)
Screenshots if you provide them

The best way to escalate this information is to write to support@alt12.com from the email address associated with your account.

I hear there has been quite a bit of a dramastorm on the Raves and Rants forum. Hopefully, this drama is behind us.

The Community team and I have reviewed some of the concerns you've posted. There are notes below:

Why was my post/thread deleted? All I did was talk about a deleted post or banned account?

On these forums, the topics of deleted posts or threads and banned accounts are considered to be private subjects between the original author and Alt12. If you have a criticism, a suggestion, or a question about your own account, please send us a note to community at alt12.com.

Flaggers are flagging everything and they've flagged me unfairly!

Alt12 relies on a mixture of moderation to keep up with the very high volume of content posted to these forums. The "Report Abuse" tool is only one of the ways content is reviewed. Blaming your fellow forum members if something you've written has been removed is unfair to them. Please make contact with the community staff so that we can help you identify why the post was removed and how you can prevent something you've written from being removed in the future.

Someone said something hideous about me and I don't think it is fair I don't get to say it back!

On these forums, we have a membership code in place about behavior and what can and cannot be said. Even if someone loses their cool and posts terrible things at you, it is still not ok to fight fire with fire. What is ok and really helpful is to let the moderation staff know via the Report Abuse tool, as people who cannot post in a way that is respectful of our community and/or repeatedly show that they do not respect our community members or the forum rules are not invited to continue participating.

Disagreement and varying viewpoints makes forums interesting. The Community team reads a huge amount of content in Raves and Rants, and I can tell you on a personal level that the majority of people who post here are kind, funny, supportive, and show that they understand the value of a great community.

What do you love and hate about where you're from, or where you currently live.

I live in Missouri, a small country town, you blink and you miss it. I've lived there since I was 3, but of course now have my own place(just to clarify I don't still live with my parents.)

What I Love: Everyone waves at everyone. Whether they know you or not, you still see a hand fly up waving at you.

What I Hate: Rumors get spread like butter. Quick & easy. Whether they are true or not, just because it's such a small town.

My boyfriend has cheated on me in the past and up until recently I caught him at it again. He claims that he 'loves me more than anything ' and that I'm the one that treats him badly because I have a guard up. I try my best to make the effort with him but it always seems like it isn't good enough. And then today he told me he's going to do whatever makes him happy regardless of our relationship because he feels single. Really? Im so upset with him I really don't know what to do. If I wasn't pregnant I'd leave him so quickly. How can he say all of this then say he loves me ?
