Im a first time Mommy and I'll 20 a month before my baby is born. Im not 16 and so i sont fit in with the younger crowd, I want a way to connect with peoplle that are little bit older but are still on the younger side.

I created this group cause im finding that MOST of my friends are single childless and looking for a good time! Which I want to but being married and pregnant its not that simple. Being either of those can make things a little more complicated. Im finding that I dont connect with most of my friends anymore cause they just dont get it. My DH, bless his soul, doesnt have this problem and I cannot seem to make him understand where im coming from. He thinks that its just as hard for him to take a brake from pregnancy as me which isnt the case, just considering the rate that can drink a beer when he wants too! lol I just want some girls my own age to talk with that have these same issues connecting with friends and making DH understand and all of our other pregnancy concerns too!

i got hired for a department store thats opening in my area a few weeks ago. i did not tell them during the interview that i was pregnant. i start Saturday. i wasn't in maternity clothes during the interview but have had to start wearing them since. i don't have a huge belly, but i think I'm at that stage where people would be scared to ask me if i was by just looking at me. lol the store doesn't open until the end of the month. I'm just not sure when i should tell my bosses. we will be working and training from Saturday until open. I'm just afraid if they don't see me working, and see that i am a good employee they might be tempted to let me go. i know its illegal, but they can say they fired me for other reasons. i just worry with them being brand new, that they won't want any kinks in the chain. and my timing couldn't be worse Cause I'll be needing to go on leave right at Christmas at the latest. i just want to know y'alls opinion on when to tell and what to do. I'm 23 weeks by the way.
