I had a C-Section with my first due to him being breech. I went into labor and they cut him right out of me.
My second child I went into labor and it had to be stopped a few times. I was at a military hospital so they decided I wasn't allowed a VBAC and off to the OR I went again. They said they found a 1cm weakness that was "due to active labor" and advised me that I would never be able to labor safely again.
I wanted a VBAC, and I still do for my next birth. Where can I get information on this?

Hi I'm feeling a little dis heartened, I really want to have a successful vba2c. My docs have been v supportive and have been attempting to do sweeps weekly since 36 weeks to help move things along, but unsuccessful because my cervix is tightly closed. They have booked in a section for next tues, (i will be 41+5) they will not induce. I so hope I go into labour by then, but just showing no signs of it happening :(

I am a mama to little boys, 5 and 3. I had my primary c/s due to a failed induction and being uneducated on interventions in childbirth. My second c/s was a failed VBAC attempt, due to son being malpositioned. I will be attempting a VBA2C this time around. I am also mama to 7 angel babies, as I have a history of miscarriage. I am an active member in my local ICAN chapter and the natural birth community in my area.
