Cumin Tea to Induce Labor?

Read about this the other day, steep one teaspoon of ground cumin in a cup of water for 5 mins and sweeten to taste, supposed to help bring on labour.

Anyone heard of this before?

Just drank a cup, boiled cinnamon bark then added liquid to the cup, added a tablespoon of ground cumin, let it sit for 20 mins. Strained it since the cumin didnt dissolve, added red raspberry leaf tea and a teaspoon of honey, does not taste bad.

Im going to try this tonight, Im 38 weeks tomorrow.

I went to 42 weeks with all 3 of my children, never lost my plug or had any pre labor symptoms, I really dont want that to happen again!

My babies were all 10 to 11.8 pounds at 42 weeks i just want to go on time this time!

Good luck, i hope u find something that works!

Well she's a fool. My mom told me her mom gave her thyme tea and she went into labor. She just made a pot for me so I'm gonna try.

That's funny. I put cumin on my quesadilla a little bit ago. I've had a couple contractions, but no labor. I've never heard of cumin tea, but it doesn't sound good. Maybe with lots of sugar...

I've had two cups so far, felt a little crampy but that's all. The night isn't up yet. I walked up the stairs sideways, two steps at a time and hopped down each step lol. Might do a few jumping jacks when I get home. To do the thyme tea you just boil some time, I drank it unsweetened and it had no taste.

Nothing lol. I guess these things only work when baby is ready. I would really love for him to come by Thursday (due date) because I'm trying vaginal after 2 c-sections. Have a huge batch of raspberry leaf tea steeping. Gonna try cinnamon bark tea again.
