I just had my baby girl 3 days ago and she is having some problems and will be in the nicu for a mo or more please pray for her to get better an to come home fast and for me and my family to get through this!

After 114 days in the the hospital my lil man is finally home at 8 lbs 13 oz, no monitors but still a feeding tube. It is wonderful and so scary.

I'm so excited LO will be home in a couple weeks!! Yay so happy my NICU journey is almost over. :)

Today they finally starting to discuss discharge plan but the doc have order it yet. Still monitoring her episodes n if she will do well without the caffeine. But he did start her on the multi vitamins with iron drops. N we having our CPR class today. N one other good thing is they says to have the car seat ready n if we can just bring it in. So we hoping for the Friday or sat or mayb sunday. It's been almost 5 weeks this sat. She's doing really well with feeding n everything. Didn't need the ng tube no more. It came out yesterday morning and she took all 8 bottles feeding since Sunday. She's a fighter n strong. Only at 35 wks but working hard like a full term baby. I'm so proud of her! looking back at this journey I see how much she grown n gotten so big. From a tiny fragile baby to one lovely strong n healthy baby. Let's pray our journey home will b as smooth n great as the nicu. And that she continue to do well n grow stronger like all baby.

Anyone have a hard time pumping? I am on day 3 and I barely get 1cc! Frustrating bc the nicu is wanting to start feeding the babies my milk.

My lo is on her 25th day she doing well just move to the crib this morning n taking 3 bottles per day. N we looking to go he mayb the end of august or early sept depending on her feeding n maintain her temp. I hope everyone LOs get well n strong. Stay strong mamas cause you'll have them at home soon.

Hi Everyone,
I had twin boys 5/28/11. We are going on our 10th week in the nicu. Jaxton weighed 2lb 11oz at birth and Braxton weighed 2lb 9 oz at birth. Both boys are currently over 7lbs. We faced many challenges but my sweet boys are doing well. Jax is on room air, and just learning how to eat and Brax was diagnosed with chronic lung disease, is still on oxygen and continues to learn how to eat as well. It has been a long hard road and there is nothing I want more than to have my boys home with us!
