I'm trying to get organised for the arrival and know in another month or two I won't have the energy to go shopping. I have ordered the pram car seat 2 cot beds a travel cot (plan is to have it downstairs and put my "angels" in it during the day) bath, changing mat. What other things are you going to purchase before they arrive?
Iam currently looking for twin feeding pillow and baby bouncers, not sure if I should purchase an electric breast pump but I would like to breast feed them. What is everyone else doing?

Just to let you know on friday 13th January I gave birth by emergency c-section to Sophia Maria 5lb5oz at 4:54am followed by Caine Christopher 6lb7oz at 4:54am
Both my twince and twincess are doing brilliantly!
I was induced at 10am on the Thursday 12th, and by 01:44 on Friday I was 4.5cm dilated and contracting heavily so was taken to labour ward.
Unbeknown to me I had contracted an infection of the womb and this was noticed when my waters broke and they were smelly and offensive. Then babies heart rates kept decelerating hence the section.
After all this I can say I am on
Cloud 9 and so happy my babies are finally here xx

Hi ladies
Holly and Asher were born on Monday morning, 5lb 7 and 5lb 15, both doing well but being monitored for jaundice & check weight gain. Caesarian was fine - even spinal not a problem. I'm knackered as doing 3hourly feeds so not getting much sleep, but it's all worth it!

I thought I'd do a quick post to calm the minds of the expectant twin mums out there. I am 5' and reached about 11 stone 7 at the end of my pregnancy from a starting point of about 8 stone 10. After giving birth 12 days ago I have hopped on the scales and with no effort at all I now weigh 9 stone 4. I ate 3 course meals whilst in hospital and since coming home have been snacking with chocolate, crisps as well as healthy stuff. So don't worry about how much you're gaining, it'll all drop off. I am breastfeeding so that's helping too.

Just thought I'd check in too see how everyone else and how far along we all are now.
I'm 33 weeks and ready to meet my babies but don't want them to come yet as I'd rather get to 37 weeks.

Just thought I would check in see how everyone is keeping and how long we have to go.
I'm good starting to feel big and having heartburn on a daily basis is not pleasant.
I'm 29 weeks now and looking forward to the arrival of my Los still leaving the sex as a surprise the only issue is what colour and theme to do the room - all ideas welcome.
Look forward to hearing from you all

Megan Elizabeth (770g) and Finlay David (680g) arrived at 26 weeks gestation on 27th July 2011.
Now both over 2kg we are awaiting discharge from hospital in the next couple of weeks but are unlikely to be home before our due date of 2nd November

I'm now 36+5 and the hospital have decided to do a planned Caesarian on Monday, if they don't arrive by themselves beforehand. Can't wait to meet my babies!!
