growth spurt

how long does it usually last my lo will be 4months sunday and has wanted to eat every 2hours and he been all around miserable he ff fed

My lo is 4 months and has been doing the same for a few weeks. On advice from a nurse yesterday I drew him out to 3.5 to 4 hours by distracting him with other things when he cried at two hours like taking him for a walk, taking him outside etc. It seemed to work, this way he is getting better feeds in because he is hungrier rather than snacking.

Growth spurts usually last a few days.

I'm pretty sure DD is in the midst of one too.. We spent the better part of today nursing & sleeping.

Maybe increase the amount of formula? I dunno, I breastfeed, but if he's hungry too often just offer him more.

he's drinking almost 8oz then screams blood murder at about two hours for more and will drink another almost 8 maybe I've tryed holding him off but no success

This growth spurt can last several days to several weeks. As they get older they last longer. We're about 2 weeks in.
