When did every body hear from there midwife I was referred to them over 8 weeks ago and still haven't Hurd from them ? Any one think this is normal ? X

Good morning ladies. I'm due in November and I'm looking forward to my second home birth. This is my fifth child but the first three were in the hospital. Anyone else due around that time?

The more I learn about modern day obstetrics, the less I trust obs and their principles.
I turn 35 this year. A friend of mine who had fifty billion kinds of interventions in her pregnancy and birth recently was telling me about her specialists and all I could think was "what nonsense!" she was telling me I would most likely be considered "high risk" as well.
If any doctor told me that I had to go to a specialist because of my age, I'd be looking for a new doc.
I've said it before, but gotta say it again:
I am sooooooo grateful for my midwife! And for our upcoming home birth.

I'm enjoying all the reading but, thought I might introduce myself.
I'm Jaton. (Juh-tawn) and 34 yo
Pregnant w baby 4 (boy)
First time home birth (all others were in hospital w meds)
I'm 29w 2d pregnant - due July 16.
As time marches forward I find myself becoming more and more nervous. Reading all of these stories has helped a lot - I'm going to continue reading them - and use some of the texts that you guys have recommended.
Anyway. /waves

Hi ladies. I'm a ftm edd is October 6. I'm going to be having a home birth and I couldn't be more excited! I am an R N and work at a large hospital in Michigan and I just can't imaging having my baby there. I am so excited for the birth of my baby!! Also my dh and I will not be finding out the gender!!! Eeeek:) I love reading birth stories as they give me the confidence that I CAN DO IT

hey ladies, i am 19 weeks with my 3rd baby and have finally wrapped my brain around having a home birth :) im very excited, and glad to have found this group.
