The Australia forum is a joy to read most days and I want to thank you for your participation and good humor.

If you are reading a post that you feel conflicts with the Terms of Use, please make use of the Report Abuse feature. Doing so will send the post to a moderation queue for review. Your patience is appreciated, as it can take some time for that point in the queue to be reached.

If you feel a user is systematically abusing the Terms of Use, you may also decide to send an email to abuse@alt12.com with the username and a description of the situation.

From reading the posts here, I see that there is a misconception about how the flagging and post removal process works. Making use of the Report Abuse button will send a post to the queue for review, but it is a human moderator that makes the decision whether the post will be removed, not the person who originally flagged. Likewise, many posts that undergo moderation are not flagged forward but instead are found during periods where a moderator scans forums and threads and/or during keyword alerts or searches.

If you have a question about moderation and your own account, please feel free to write to community@alt12.com. Keep in mind that the subjects of blocked accounts, infractions, and removed posts are considered to be part of a private dialogue between the original poster and Alt12. Posts on these subjects will be removed.
