Why? Get one and you'll find out! So much cleaner and neater. Worth the pain! I get I've every 3-4 weeks, they get better the more often you get it done :)

I had laser on mine before I got pregnant. So much nicer. No ingrowns or stubble:) the whole pregnancy I only had 30 new hairs or so grow. Also
Helps when if doc has to give u stitches after delivery or a c section. Cleaner and neater for sure!

I started getting it done when I moved here 3 years ago - I've never looked back! It feels cleaner and fresher!
I've had it done every 4 weeks, even all the way through this pregnancy - dear god it hurts - but I just hate hair there now!

Olismummy it takes anywhere from 6-14 treatments just depends on ur hair e everyone is diff! If u have 6 and there is no hair do a few more cuz in a mth or two after stopping growth may start!

It feels so much better! I'm hopeless though and only get it done when I remember or get utterly sick of the feeling of au naturale.

I love the feeling of not having any hair down there. I'm not religious about it though. Normally I do my own brazillians and let it get pretty long before I wax it off - probably every 6-8 weeks. Also I used to shave, but found that my skin didn't react well to it. I used to get rashes and lumps and bumps - don't get any of that with waxing

Once you get it done once, there is no going back!! Before i fell pregnant, i had mine done every 5 weeks, now i can't go over 4 weeks or it looks like you can braid it and put beads in it!!!
The ingrowns are proving to be a pain to try and get out with a huge belly in the way!! I can't see my toes now, there is no way i can see whats going on over there!!

Like pp's said it so much cleaner & nicer. I always feel better after having it done. The first time is a bit painful but I get mine done every 4 weeks religiously & it doesn't take that long & less painful every time. The longer the hair is the more it will hurt

I have it done every 4 weeks once you start having them it's hard to stop but I agree with pp I can't see down there so if I get an ingrown I can't get to it which is annoying lol

Olismummy I had a session at the Hairfree centre every six weeks for about 10 visits then as maintenance I go every 4-6 months for one.

Mellymum, at first its a bit daunting, having a perfect stranger that close to ur nether region, but you have to remember, they see that many, its no big deal!! I used to work with the lady that does my waxing when we were teenagers at Safeway, so i've known her for a long time, and at first i felt uncomfortable having her do it, but now, its like hop up on the bench, spread em and get comfy!!
Embarrasing moment a few months back! Thank god she's just had a baby, so she laughef it off!! Anyway, she's waxing away, and i had the urge to fart, so i warned her and had to let it rip! She thanked me for warning her but i was so embarresed, it was a pongy one too!! Oh well, one of the many blessings of pregnancy!!!
Now everytime i go, she makes a joke of it and passes me the glen 20, "just in case!".

@lanismum4eva I'm standing in line at Coles and read that, I started laughing out loud and people looked at me like I'm some kind of crackpot !! Lol, made my day! But not sure if it was very encouraging on the waxing conundrum ! Lol

I know, but it does get more easier as you get it done, and if u can fart in front of ur waxing lady, its a good thing coz ur both comfortable with the whole stranger waxing my vag thing!! Mind you, she has been doing my waxing for over two years before that happened!!! But she knows all about the lovely things our bodies do when we're pregnant, even those things we can't control!!
Trust me, it was a one off..... For now, i hope!😜

Just a curious question when your getting waxed don't you get discharge like how do you deal with that while someone is waxing coz the area has to be completely dry and you know disharge sorry tmi but just curious in saying that I wax myself every week religously as soon as hair starts to grow I have to remove it it just makes me feel clean :) I'm nearly 37 weeks and still can see my parts :) xx

I get a brazilian every 4-6 weeks and because I'm too lazy to shave lol plus I think waxing is just nicer than shaving

I love them cos I hate hair down there, it feels a lot cleaner & I dont have pubes hanging out my bathers or undies! I'm a beauty therapist so seen many & trust me we don't stare at your bits only the hair were removing! In terms of the discharge i would def recommend wiping before u go in & wear a clean g-string instead of nothing so u feel more comfortable. U can even ask them for a wipe if u dont have anything. Ive never had anyone with discharge come out during cos we work on the outside only..Sometimes I spray a bit of perfume down there just in case!! Make sure u go to someone good who is quick otherwise it can be a bad experience!

I've never had it done but I heard you can buy over the counter numbing cream and slather that on an hour before you go in and you literally feel nothing! Not sure if it's true or not though.

I am pretty much the same as all pps, I getbit done cause it's just nicer and cleaner and I hate being hairy down there, I get it done every 5-6 weeks, the frequency of getting it done depends on how fast you hair grows back! I am starting to have issues getting to the ingrowns cause the bump is getting in the way

It feels cooler and neater for me. My hair grows really slowly so i get it done every 6 weeks. If your beautician is good it shouldn't hurt much at all. I have had some really bad experiences though 😖

Rani I can relate, I have had some bad experiences or they leave little patches and I want it ALL gone! I have finally found a great beatuician who gets every last hair and it hardly hurts, I get my lip done as well and I think it hurts 10 times more than the brazillian!

Funny story, my beautician is great, she is a lovely little thai lady, I recommended her to my sister who was wanting to get hers done and last time I got mine done the beautician informs me that I am hairier than my sister! just the confidence boost a pregnant lady needs!

I get one every four weeks, I can't handle any longer than that because I hate the feeling of hair down there!! So much nicer without!! And I time them around obs appt and my due date!!
