We are dealing with severe iugr...my baby girl is measuring 4 weeks behind. Had been diagnosed with absent kidney sua and iugr. Doc seems to think blood flow to baby is going to start going down hill and might want to delivery at 28 weeks! She won't even be two pounds yet! I'm freaking out to say they least. He also wants me to take the steroid shots to help her lungs two days before the 28 week mark. Which is Tuesday the 4th. Have any of you gone through something similar? Work nanny being so small and good outcomes?

Well Mommies we are out of the hospital again great news we left without oxygen bad news still have no answers to whats going on and we have a new thing to worry about hope you and the little ones are doing great

My baby is 3 months already! 6 weeks adjusted and her weight has gone from 4 pounds to 9.4!! She's smiling a lot and head control is getting better. She's finally made it on to the bottom if the growth chart!

Our Birth Story: I went to L&D on sunday 5/19 to check out my blood pressure due to it being high that morning and the Friday before. It was around 181/102. They checked the babies heartbeat and due to the fact that she had a couple of dips in to the 90's and little below they kept me over night and wanted me to do a 24 urine test to check proteins. They did an ultrasound to see how she was (perfect) but they decided to give me steroid shots to build to her lungs up just incase. The night was long but my blood pressure was ok, but due to another drop in her heartbeat in the morning they wanted to do an c-section because of my blood pressure and proteins I had preeclampsia. So at 10:41 on 5/20 I went in for a c-section. By 10:49 she was born. She had to be on a Cpap for the night, but the next day she was on a small oxygen tube and by the afternoon she could breathe on her own. She's amazing and now is off the IV and eating breast milk via feeding tube. She's out little RAD superstar and I can't wait for her to come home <3
