I'm 24 weeks almost 25 and my dr put me on bed rest and disability for 4 weeks due to complications with my pregnancy. I live in California Do you guys know how long it will take to get the disability going.

Hey ladies! I'm currently a SAHM, but I might have to start working soon and I'm feeling very uneasy about it. My son is 4 1/2 months and I can't imagine not being home with him all the time.
My husband wants a change of job, which would be a $4 pay cut, so I would have to get a job.
Is working and being away from LO all that bad?

Do you think $250 for 2 wks is expensive? It's a friend of mine, my baby would be the only one there. We provide diapers, formula, etc. I was just wondering what others thought

I am an RN and my husband is in the military. We moved from California to Washington (Travis to McCord) and my husband is gone unpredictably (a pilot). I work three twelve hour night shifts a week and i have no idea how to do child care at night. I am thinking of quitting after the baby is born and starting back up when a day shift position is available, I have no friends or family here and I have no idea what I would do for night time infant care, this being said I love my job and I really am scared to give it up. What would you do? We don't absolutely need my income but it is nice to have. We could make changes and be without it. Any advice is appreciated!
