stupid mirena side effects!

first time I got mirena my daughter was about six weeks old. I bled for over a month, but then the bleeding stopped and I didn't have an issue with it ever again besides occasional cramping. (felt like round ligament pains on the side, burning sensation) since it was an OK form of birth control I loved that I had no period, I got it again right after my son was born, at two months old. well... here I am I had it for three months and I BLED the whole time. not a day went by that I didn't bleed. I'm so upset by mirena this time. I thought it would of been good this time around but it was not. anyone else have mirena? what birth control can I take while breast feeding?

The same thing happened to me with the depo shot. I never stopped bleeding. Hormonal birth control doesn't do well with me. I wanted to copper iud but I'm breastfeeding and it might ruin my milk supply. If you aren't breastfeeding maybe that one would work?

Oh duh you are breastfeeding..

Sorry I still have baby brain..
The only other things would be the pill, patch, or depo I think.. Or just plain ol condoms =/

I'm getting Mirena for the first time next week I'm breast feeding and the dr put me Micronor birth control pills and I hate taking a pill everyday and with these pills I have had a lot of break through bleeding. The doctor told me it was either those pills, the depo shot or Mirena was the only things I could take while breast feeding.

I actually stopped bleeding for the first time since having my ds the day after I got my IUD. Last time I had it I bled for a month straight so I'm grateful this time I didn't.... I've been soooo hungry since I got it though might be a coincidence but its like I'm a bottomless pit, making it hard to lose weight :(

how would paraguard effect breast milk production? it changes the ph of your uterus is all i thought it did... my dr told me it has no effect on milk supply i breastfed fine with my first when i had it. i'm jus curious.

I got the Mirena a week and a half ago and have been bleeding ever since. I really hope it stops before I go to the beach in 2 weeks!

I got mine in three weeks ago and still spotting off and on and my hair is falling out like crazy I'm almost 4mths pp so I dunno if its the mirana or not

I got mine yesterday. Just spotting right after it was inserted. I had sex last night and had slight spotting and nothing since. It's only been a day though and I'm still breastfeeding
