Baby wraps/carriers

Hi ladies! Any recommendations for a baby carrier? Would love something that I can use to hold the baby while cleaning around the house and running out. Any recommendations?? Thanks!!

A lot of people like Moby wraps but I was weary to use one. A good front carrier that goes up to 21 pounds is Chicco.

I love my homemade moby... You tube it!!! Material and scissors are all you need, no craft sense necessary.

From 4 mths the Ergo carrier, can be used on front and back for much larger child. Best money I ever spent.

Moby when he was new (home made) and now that he's a hit older (2 months), he likes the bjorn better.

The bjorn is a classic crotch dangling design - horrible! Would you be comfortable like that? There is a nice picture on a hip dysplasia website showing how the alignment is just not recommended.

A carrier that forms a seat like the Ergo, Boba and Beco are worth the cost! I loved my Moby as a newborn but my Beco still gets used on occasion at 17m old! It is still very comfortable to wear her even at almost 30lbs (as a backpack). I used my Beco daily from 5-13m (when she wanted to walk everywhere).

Love my baby k'tan, super easy to use and always get stopped by moms, dads and grandparents asking what and where to get one.

Moby is great, highly recommend it! Thanks, moms, for the tips on making one myself, I hadn't heard that before.

I'll add to the moby list! For new babies up to a year I love it. For back carries, and once they get a bit heavier, I use a mei tai, maya tai for me. I still use the moby after a year, but probably half and half wih the tai. The moby is more comfortable for long wearing.
Currently wearing nb number six :)

Love my baby ktan for when they are small and it's around the house or a quick trip. It's like a wrap and carrier combined, so easy to use. Once they get bigger the Ergo is a must. Never have back pain with it.

Pikilo from Cat Bird Baby. Love it! Hands free and the baby loves it too. It's also incredibly easy to put on.

I have a K'Tan & love it!!! I can carry baby alot of the same ways as the Moby but it's easier to put on & not 500 miles of fabric (which it's just took hot where I live to have).

Best 60 bucks I've spent!

Ergo!!! I have a bjorn and never use it bc.it's not good for baby, I just returned my baby k'tan bc lo doesn't like it, I have two moby's.and can only convince lo to stay in it once every ten times I try, and a have a ring sling which he only will tolerate.with the hip hold

I would go with a soft shell carrier like ergo, becco gemini, boba. The gemini is awesome bc you can do baby facing in or out in the front, hip carry or back.

It's pricey but well worth it! I carry lo in the ergo everyday and it goes up to 45lbs. the moby stretches out and you have to constantly readjust
