New Unmedicated Birth Forum!

Hey everyone! I created a new PRIVATE forum online! It's titled "Unmedicated Birth" You can find it in the list (it isn't a secret group, just a private one). In order to join, you have to request access and I have to "approve" the request. Obviously everyone is welcome except people with demonstrated "objections" to unmedicated labor. Those with questions are still welcome. You have to sign in at http://babybump.alt12.com (notice there is no www.) After you are added to the group, just add it to your favorites (still using the computer) and then you can sign out and back in on your phone to use the forum on the phone. See you all there!

I'm glad theres a group, but I don't qualify! While I am a huge natural birth advocate... I cannot support unassisted. Best of luck!

Mommy mc, I mean unassisted like without medical intervention. It's just an attempt to be clear about what "natural" means. The vast majority of women in the private group have a midwife or OB, and I think there might be one or two who are curious about actual unassisted birth. As long as you don't want to "preach" against anyone's choice, you are absolutely welcome there. Creating the group was only meant to get away from the drama around here with the "what natural means" debate happening every 5 minutes. Hope to see you there!

Id say the word unassisted totally sounds like an unassisted home birth....with no caregivers. That was my assumption as well. Just a heads up.

Would anyone volunteer to be a moderator with me? It basically means we would be in charge of accepting people's request to join (or rejecting if they are known nay-sayers). I just don't want to be the only one.

This sounds great. There has been so much bickering lately and seems like there are some who come in just to make waves. It makes it difficult to actually get the info your looking for! However I will have to wait till tomorrow because it is 11:30 and I am laying in bed surfing the forum :)

I figured it out. I had to log out on the iPad, not just the computer. Then when you go to forums, at the top you see all and mine, and you switch it to mine : )
